Have we come so far to have prejudices about a ingame character? It is a poor world we are living in. You do not know anything about him but you want him dead? Are you thinking the same about your neighbor?

it is just a video game

Truthfully, there is a lot of questions that could asked from the desire to kill off a character. Psychological desire to commit acts in reality without consequence perhaps? An oppertunity to act out subconcious (or even concious) predjudices?

its a video game, everyone thinks of shooting, killing and blowing stuff up.  Doesn't have psychological problems.  why do you think video games are popular in the first place?

There are many games out there where you do not shoot, kill or blow stuff up. Off cause it is just a game but they are not popular because you can kill someone, it is because you can be part of another world and control a character.

yea, those games tend to be depressing and all the hype dies down in a month.  I remember Heavy Rain.  You can't compare people in reality to how they would act in a cyber world.  We all have dark secrets.  It's all about self control.

Vega and Liara apparently shop at the same plot armoury. I wonder if they could give my Shep the number to the place? She's interested in purchasing some stuff for Ben just to make sure his arse makes it out of Westminster in one piece.

No, he isn't killable at all. Certainly not until endgame where everything is unclear.

Upon first hearing about him i was like: "Boooooooooo" but after reading about him and playing the demo, he seems ok. Hell he'll probably get more use in my game then Jacob did in ME2.

I don't like Vega as a character either do I want him dead? No I'll just leave him on the Normandy and he'll never be in my party if I can avoid it. I would rather have Garrus, Liara instead for my squad

The same could be said of the fangirls who were rubbing themselves over him despite knowing next to nothing about him (annoying twit on LiveJournal who uses icons featuring The Princess and the Frog I'm looking at you)

The better question is...

HOW LONG UNTIL WE CAN KILL OFF THE VS? I MUST KILL KAIDAN BECAUSE BIOWARE RUINED HIM BY MAKING HIM BISEXUAL SO I MUST KILL HIM OFF AND FORGET HE EVER EXISTED

trololol

It's nothing like murder. A. It' isn't real B. It isn't Shepard who kills them (I would hypothetically presume). It's more akin to writers or directors killing off a character.

Vega seems pleasant enough. Suitably respectful to my Shep, unlike Kaiden, Miri, or Ash in ME2. I'll probably taking for a trial then go back to Garrus, Tali, Liara and Legion (unless Zaeed or Kasumi are available as eventual DLC).

I can't stand the dude, and I think it's weird to want to kill them off just cause you don't like them.

Well, i always give a character a chance, i am pro-geth also, i can understand why the geth fought back against the Quarians, but i do not agree with them trying to wipe them out because they were becoming sentient.

I mean, they could have taught them that they were created for a purpose, to help and defend the Quarian people...problem solved....but nope, they tried to kill them.

I personally didn't like Jacob, he just didn't seem right to me, i mean, he could have had Miranda and if i judged a character by who they were modeled after, then i would have jumped at the chance to do the voice actor of miranda, damn, she is bloody hot, especially with the aussie accent. ;)

When it comes to Vega, i don't have an opinion on him, don't know his personality or how he gets the job done, i personally always go with the paragon route, if he has trouble doing that, then i won't like him at all.

You know why don't you? It's because there's a zipper concealed under his scruff of hair, and at the end, he pulls it down the middle of the front of his face, and we find out that the reason why James Vega has been so massive is because it's all been a massive disguise all along. It's really been Conrad Verner wearing a James Vega suit and stalking Shepard ...

Vega is like if you took one of the jershey shore dudes, put him in Gears of War, then put him in the ME universe. and his shirt is too small...

Haters gonna hate. I personally think Vega will probably be the best Male human squadmate we've ever had. Welcome aboard Vega

so far i've been less than impressed with the two human male squadmates. kaidan was very cliche 'i have a troubled past but i'm still sensitive yet tough' and jacob... i dunno, i just didn't care for him, he lacked a real personality until towards the end when he lightened up a bit, wish they'd shown more of that with him, maybe they will in 3 if he shows up but not likely with current events. The only human males I think are awesome are Joker and Kenneth. Vega, I'll wait to pass judgement completely, but could they have made him look anymore like a dousche?

He's not from ME1, hes a default human solider, Freddy Prince Jr. Hes going to be permanently shelved just like Jacob, Kaiden, and Ashley.

No you can't, but why would you want to kill the most awesome character in the game anyway?

Because he is voiced by Freddy Prince Jr. Well I will at least play the game before I decide anything like that. He seems to be a default Soldier type character. Since I'm the soldier, he has no place on my squad.
