I've just played throught legacy and somthing unexpected happend.

Here is the explenation on what happend

First of all i used the dalls_warrior mod and there is a 2H sword in it that i like quite a lot! So when I got the Hawke Key I put it into the backpack so i can use the sword i mentioned
And i also used the bug to gain all the power ups to the Key.

After the first seal Bethany had the Key equiped, so i swaped the Key back to her staff no problem.

After the second seal Hawke had the Key equiped changed back no problem.

But after the 3rd seal Varric had the Key equiped (I only realised during final battle so no quick saves before seal) and Bianca is in the inventory and i cant change it back. What can i do to swap varric's equipment back (sort of replaying entire quest)

How is the key even being equipped by any other than Hawke? I have found it impossible to give it to any but my PC Hawke. Now if you have equip restriction removal mod, and equip party yes that might be the case. If so, all you can do is play from an earlier save and make sure Hawke keeps the key equiped.
