I know this is extremely unlikely, but is there any word on whether your PC and 360 can share saves (if you have a copy on both platforms)....I'd like to be able to play the same character on my couch or at my desk, depending on my mood and whatnot....

As cool as that sounds, I doubt the tech for this exist.

Definitely not. There's not even a mechanism by which to transfer them. Then there's platform differences.

I imagine Microsoft would have a fit simply for trying, as well.

right, i was thinking something along the lines of Games for Windows Live, since your PC account and 360 account are the same....oh well. Here's hoping they do that at some point

Well youll be able to upload characters to the social site, so therell be some sort of central data that all platforms will have access too... But I doubt it would ever happen.

There was a mention, I believe in the other forum, of Rog/Dabbit having different talent trees on the PC and consoles due to differences in the mechanics of leveling up (apparently you can't leave unallocated points on consoles). Details such as this indicate that sharing savegames will likely be impossible.

It doesn't use GFWL.  And it's much too late to get it to do so.

I don't think GFWL even shares saves.

The console and PC versions of the game have significant technical differences, and some fairly major gameplay differences, at least when it comes to transferring saves. For example, Dog has double the number of available talents on the Xbox than on the PC version due to technical issues regarding the GUI on the Xbox and the way it handles certain things.

Edit: I think it would be neat, but games sharing saves between platforms would need to be built from the ground up with that functionality, not to mention that they likely would never be approved by MS.
