Concussion Shot, Grenades + Adrenaline Rush = The guy in front of you wish he'd never been born.
Looks at Lv 7 Vanguard's score.CottonBALL wrote...

Depends on your skill at rolling/throwing them and your lag, I suppose. I went radius, because I don't have a lag-less connection.Poison_Berrie wrote...
So on frag grenade, radius or damage?

Human soldier is pretty good accually. Give him Revenant X (which I have and it ROCKS! I changed my opinion about it being useless when it got to higher ranks) + pretty much any ammo power, single use assault rifle enhancement, In the full game you will be able to outfit your gun with x% dmg extended barrel, spec into +50% dmg Adrenaline rush and +50% Shield strengh. And there you go - deadly soldier is deadly when Adrenaline is on, you can even effectively burst fire distant enemies with equiped scope. I tested this setup on Silver and it mauls cerberus guys to shreds if you have decent aim. If properly taking cover and utilizing protection of corners you can take Atlases all on your own no problem. Soldier on Adrenaline rush really does decent damage and you can spam ARush pretty much the whole time if you take only Revenant X. The only drawbacks are that soldier moves damn slow when firing Revenent full auto, this way it is easy to get shot by other enemies that are around, so it is highly advisable to stick with a team, also, I cannot seem to get used to the recoil of it because I use very low sensitivity and constantly run out of space on my already big mouse pad when trying to compensate. Recoil in general is a bit too much for me in this game it is all over the place on some guns, so crude and forceful, lacks subtlety. All in all, I would say excelent support class to defend heavy hitters like Infils with Widows or what have you against pretty much everything, would do wonders against swarms of husks.

Can the AoE version also knock the shield away from guardians?Uriain wrote...
I have been Running my Human Soldier as AoE CS to add to CC when I play on Silver and Gold. Hitting a target to the left or right of a stasis'd enemy can sometimes knock them in, but at least knocks them down. Couple this with a Mattock X and you can cut enemies down pretty darn quickly
I messed up on the build though, so on retail, it will be much more carefully constructed to have Male as Direct damage, and Female as AoE.. should be a good mix for groups
Ok so a direct shot or close proximity shot will knock the shield back but too far away will knock the shield back on the target, but only stagger-step the guys that are too far away?Uriain wrote...
I have found that depending on how close the impacted enemy is to my target.. IE, if I target a Trooper, and a Guardian is directly beside him, shield will get blown back. If they are farther away, i find they just do thier "stutter start" like when being hit from the front by bullet fire.
