Because people threatening to not buy stuff so the company will give them sh*t for free is kind of ridiculous.SirKillsalot wrote...
*On a side note, I find the attitudes of everyone condescending the people who say they WILL boycott to be very disturbing. Why are you all so willing to allow companies like EA to continue fragmenting your games with so many pre order bonuses, store exclusives and various versions and DLC's, exploiting you and driving series into the ground?
"YOUR APPLES ARE OVERPRICED! I AM NEVER COMING TO THIS GROCERY STORE AGAIN UNLESS YOU
GIVE ME THESE APPLES FOR FREE!"
The solution here is to simply shop at another grocery store where the apples are cheaper.
"I'm not buying ME3 because I think it's a ripoff; I don't agree with EA's business practices and I'm not going to support them." Okay.
"OMG BOYCOTT NOBODY BUY ME3 UNTIL THEY GIVE US FREE STUFF!" Overreacting and unrealistic.
It's the difference between being a smart shopper and being an entitled shopper.
