The solution here is to simply shop at another grocery store where the apples are cheaper.

Lol @ how serious these boycotting retards are about some kind of organised resistance, as if BioWare was Skynet or something. It's friggin' DLC for Christ's sake, CE owners, like me, are paying for it as well (along with exclusive content) so if you want it cough up or **** off, nobody is forcing you to get it at the end of the day!

BTW I just love the total assumption that because he's Prothean, somehow the whole game revolves around him, based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever because nobody here has played the friggin' game yet. Get over yourselves & get a grip on reality!

It's not about getting it for free, it's about overpriced content that COULD (yes, I said could) be very important to fans of the first two games, which was developed before the final product's release. The Prothean is in the art book, which indicates it was meant to be a part of the original game, and that is what bothers me; the way people thank Bioware for charging them with content that should have been included in the $60 tag. And I only say "should" because I think we can all agree that a Prothean character is very important to the ME lore, and all fans, standard edition or not, should be able to experience.

I get how businesses work and I'm not saying I won't buy the game, but if complaints like this aren't thrown out there, more companies will pull of stunts like this, and more people will blindly love them for doing so.

Except EA will use faulty logic.  Even if hypothetically a signifigant number of people choose to shop elsewhere and not buy the game the falling sales won't make them look at things and go maybe we should change our strategy they will falsly blame it on piracy and simply continue doing it.
