Why do we get 10 different unnoticeable colors? i want to be a dark purple Asari, a green Salarian or a blue Krogan like the one on Noveria. Instead I get 10 different shades of grey without the option to change the color of the Krogan's headplate.

Bioware, WHY U NO HAVE BETTER SKIN TONES?!

This bugged me too. All the other customisation options are vivid and far-ranging, the skin tone doesn't make a damn bit of difference on any race in the game.

Bioware has always been pretty terrible at Skin Tones, unless of course you like Whitey, Zombie, Albino, and Vampire skin tones.

All we get for Krogan is a bunch of Wreav clones. It's depressing. I want to look like Mr. Thax's representative krogan or the krogan that tries to black mail Dr. Michele.

Yep, it's strange. Not to mention blue colors on armor in this game. Most of them look green/blue, not proper blue.

It's sad that they didn't take advantage of the vivid color differences a lot of the races have :\\

Agreed with all of the above.Oh, the Quarian Skin Tone joke was a good one, Bioware. Now change it to something more interesting, like visor color or whatever...

By the by, a small suggestion for the next Mass Effect game: color customization for the omni-tools and tech armors.

Does it really change the SKIN TONE on Quarians? lol I always figured that would be the visor color.

It does! But it's barely noticeable. It translates into  a minimal change in shade at the bottom half of the visor...

I see. Still, it's pretty funny they gave Quarians skin tone options at all.

Aw man that makes me sad I was really hoping you could change the head plate color on the Krogan..I wanted a green flare on mine, similar to Wrex's red one. Such a missed opportunity, Bioware come save us!

As much as I hate "But there's so rare!" arguments, that particular asari isn't just rare - she's entirely unique.

I agree, Toast. They should really make the skin tones more noticeable.

I know, the current choices are bad. I wanted to give my turian dark plates like Nihlus and I wanted to change my quarian's visor color. :(

Now that you think about it, how did Asari even get any facial markings while Turians got none?  Turians need facepaint options from a lore standpoint.  how did Asari get them before Turian for multiplayer?

I unlocked one last night and was disappointed. I literally couldn't see a difference.

Wow this is extremely disappointing to hear, I was hoping it was just the krogan. Not being able to color the plate really doesn't help the clone problem. I was really looking forward to making a diverse looking salarian, something like Kirrahe in the first game. My girlfriend was also looking forward to a greater difference in shades between asari colors and markings. Turians not having facial markings is just plain wrong. On the plus side I do like the default grayish of the drell, but the powers they have really leave a lot to be desired. I guess were stuck with clones, which to me is really highlighted with the quarian. I just see Tali clones no matter what colors you use and it really doesn't help there is no male option. I guess our only recourse at this point is to hope for customization dlc, which I really don't think is entirely unlikely. They could even throw in some different armor for the humans, still restricted somewhat by class so that you don't have a hulking adept ect, so that it would appeal to everyone.

This. Why did they completely ignore the turian colony markings? That's pretty much the distinctive difference between turians.

Skin tones should me more noticeable and other options like face paint (especially for turians) should be made available. If we are going to keep getting these character packs in our veteran packs then they should be worth it and the XP we get is not equivalent to taking down a silver mission, which if we're buying lots of vet packs we probably do regularly.
