I hope you and everyone else who keeps making topics about the DLC gets perma banned.
Yeah, If someone says These damn DLCs are out of place and greedy, he should get banned.
Bioware want to get rid of old fans and milk the new ones.
I wonder if the sane minority which are thousands, plan to buy anything else from Bioware/EA after ME3.
I have no problem with fans voicing their opinions but there is an official topic for all discussion related to the DLC. Making topics over and over and over again it just spam plain and simple.

Bioware !!!
This is really disapointing, how a really good studio can transform to a pease of ****. I mean look at CD Projekt and Witcher 2. Look at Blizzard. These are studios with honesty and glamour. You became a shadow of what you were in past. Its sad, but its true. People curse on you and i dont blame them of doing that. You loose your fans eventually. You dont respect your fans and them will stop respect you !!! I studied economy and this is horrible marketing model.
So wake up Bioware.
Sorry, you lost all credibility when you said "Blizzard".

Saying you will boycott and actually doing it are very different, I bet you, and all others who have mentioned boycotting ME3 in some way will still get that stuff...Internet Bravado = Meaningless

One of the few companies that gamers actually managed to stage an effective boycott on. All it took was Blizzard threatening to reveal personal information.

I know I won't.Sofia Lamb wrote...
Much like the Origin debacle this will blow over in a week and the people complaining about it will buy it anyway.
As much as I enjoyed Kasumi's character and mission, it certainly wasn't worth the points I spend on it.

It's not free. You payed extra for the CE edition for it.neubourn wrote...
Its included in my CE, so its pretty difficult to BOYCOTT something that is being handed to me for free.
As dlc , from Ashesis $10.
The CE edition you have to pay an addition $20 to get it.
Out that $20, $10 is going to "from ashes"....
How is that free?

Would be a pretty bad-ass boycot, though, shipping back your free code with a letter saying "I don't want this sh*t."

I don't think I will be buying it, but that is a far cry from joining a boycott. My decision is born from apathy. The DLC does not have anything I want. It certianly does not move me to the point I feel I have to disuade others form buying it.PikkuKananen wrote...

But if it helps you feel better about your self, sure. You convienced me. I won't buy the Day 1 DLC. I may change my mind at a later date after I have finished with all the stories I have going from ME1&2 finished up; but then again, probably not. As long as I have my Matlock and Tali (and Liara, and Jack, and Ashely) by my side, I'm good.

Sales of Bioware games are on the increase, look at the pre-order sales for ME3 - I'm afraid its you who needs to wake up, and take a good sniff of some coffee while your at it

#1: It was announced months ago that the CE would be getting some extra content plus a new squad member, which is the "From Ashes" content, yet there were no ragers anywhere to be found.
#2: Bioware is actually doing everyone who doesn't buy the CE a favour by making this exclusive content available (at a cheaper rate than purchasing CE) on Day 1. So you don't have to buy (and pay as much) the CE to get the content and you don't have to wait for 6 months to get your hands on it either! This is unlike some games which have exclusive missions for the CE but aren't downloadable for months after launch (I'm looking at you Assassin's Creed).
#3: For people complaining about "not receiving the full game" and "Bioware is ripping us off", do yourself a favour and do some cost-benefit analysis. I played ME 2 completely through twice and both of my playthroughs came in at 40 to 45 hours. I payed $90 for the CE of ME 2 so I paid basically $1/hour of entertainment, which is a better deal than you will get anywhere else. It has been reported that ME 3 is significantly longer than ME 2, yet the price of the game has not gone up. Plus they have added a multiplayer component so those who wish to experience that content will get even more entertainment time for their money. In fact, compared to almost any other game in the industry (with maybe the exception of Skyrim), ME 3 will be the best bang for your buck anywhere. The fact that one character and one mission is DLC is hardly a reason to get upset.
#4: If you are still enraged an unconvinced by any of these arguments...don't buy the DLC, or don't buy the game. But I'm sure that you will be missing your ME 3 much more than the $60-$70 that Bioware will be missing from you. Or just wait for 6 months, buy ME 3 used at GameStop for $25 and then pay the $10 DLC and you get "the whole game" for half price...but remember who is ripping off who in that situation

Bethesda and Epic Games are companies that do DLC right (excluding novelty horse armour and weapon skins of course) and they are the companies that deserve a loyal community.
All Bioware is at the moment is a brand, a brand that EA have shown they will exploit to make money.

That. As far as I'm concerned, Blizzard ripped me off by forcing me to buy 3 games to get the full SC2 SP experience.AdmiralCheez wrote...

This is not a good place to campaign for a boycott the posters here have too much brand loyalty to Bioware and do not understand that they are being taken advantage of. This will only continue to become more ridiculous in future as developers and publishers realise that you can get away with it.

Agree.
Epic seem to have a decent balance between a complete game and totally optional cosmetic day 1 DLC
