Maybe then you can afford 10 bucks and don't cry rivers of sorrow on this forum instead.
If you're one of those hardcore ME veterans who are entitled to everything for free from BioWare ignore my commnet.

I guess I'm just blown away that people who have the passion to post repeatedly on a particular video game forum wouldn't have the drive or initiative to preorder the CE when it was announced.
I could sort of understand the money argument, if it wasn't for all the billion microtransactions that a person makes throughout the day. Just eat a bag lunch one day. Skip that morning coffee. Don't buy that 6pack of soda/beer.
Come on, you know that isn't the problem. There is a principle here.
No there's not. It's delusional entitlement.
Maybe if you stick by your principles and don't do anything underhand like illegally download it, then sure more power to you, but spoiler alert you wont change anything and will just be missing out.

I don't agree with Bioware/EA's need to squeeze every last penny out of the loyal customer, either. But I have a serious problem with some people's reactions to the issue.Olej z Maku wrote...
Well, fact that someone compare day 1 DLC to rape is not representative of opinions of other people. I think these DLC is just atempt to comfuse players so they dont know what exactly they should buy in order to have full experience and buy extra DLCs just to be sure they have all thay want. Thats is unethical.
Personally, I already pre-ordered the CE, with the knowledge that I was spending more money to get more stuff. That's okay with me, even if that makes me a BioDrone/sucker/whatever. I think everyone here can agree that getting the same content for less is preferable--we don't like throwing huge chunks of money around--and that Bioware/EA has done some really obnoxious/douchey things during ME3's marketing process, but hey, so long as the end product was worth the investment, count me as satisfied.
What annoys me is that people are starting petitions in hopes of getting free stuff out of them. Boy, if that actually worked, I'd have a lot of free stuff.

Problem is they are trying sell the game for $60 and make it look as if it cost only $50 at the same time.

BioWare was never hiding that fact, so what kept those angry from complaining and addressing the matter in civil and decent way? I read many posts from those who pre-ordered the standard edition expressing hopes they'll be able to purchase that DLC when ME3 comes out.
Instead of raging, either buy it or don't.
Edit: typos.

This is not a good place to campaign for a boycott the posters here have too much brand loyalty to Bioware and do not understand that they are being taken advantage of. This will only continue to become more ridiculous in future as developers and publishers realise that you can get away with it.
Bethesda and Epic Games are companies that do DLC right (excluding novelty horse armour and weapon skins of course) and they are the companies that deserve a loyal community.
All Bioware is at the moment is a brand, a brand that EA have shown they will exploit to make money.
Agree.
Epic seem to have a decent balance between a complete game and totally optional cosmetic day 1 DLC
Now this is just hilarious.

I agree with this a little, I find it funny that the people trying to boycott did not buy/want the CE in the first place. What you're basically saying is 'Well I didnt want it. until that guy got it, I want it...Why won't you gimmie?'

We knew about this DLC since the day they announced that pre-orders are available. Hack, we even have topics on this very forum about prothean DLC CE DD owners and the speculations about it several months old. So what kept all those who are now complaining to complain then? Either you pay those extra 10 dollars or not, simple as that - that DLC was meant as one of the bonuses for CE DD editions and still those people payed 20 dollars more in order to get all goodies and that DLC.
BioWare was never hiding that fact, so what kept those angry from complaining and addressing the matter in civil and decent way? I read many posts from those who pre-ordered the standard edition expressing hopes they'll be able to purchase that DLC when ME3 comes out.

Edit: typos.
It's the ramafications the said DLC has on the lore of Mass Effect. The DLC will potentially allude to plot details that the very foundations of the game are built on. Bioware know this and have decided to cut it from the standard game and launch it as $10 DLC, it's wrong, bad business and will exploit those who have engrossed themselves in the lore and universe of Mass Effect.. This argument has nothing to do with the fact the CE edition has exclusive DLC or not, it's the importance of the actual contents in regard to the entire game and the exploitation of the fanbase who did'nt/were not lucky enough to buy the CE.

Stop whining seriously. Do gamers always feel entitled to exclusive content for free? Are gamers all this spoiled? Get over yourselves.
