how can an ogre be from a quanari broodmother!?!?!? Theyre like twice there size, have humungus horns, and no freakin heart!!!!!!! I mean a hurlock, glenlock, and shreik at least look remotely like their respective races (albiet alot of deformities) but i never expected an ogre was quanari based before the game.

Qunari are giants...I think they kind of had to shrink Sten (as well as Shale) but the Qunari are supposed to be humongous comparatively anyway. Each darkspawn take attributes from their original race also...Genlocks are supposed to be more magic resistant, Hurlocks are the "average brutes", Shreiks are able to hide, so Ogres get the battle attitude of Qunari. At least thats the way I see it.

Its not a stretch of the imagination when you think about it,any time spent talking to Sten and the scant revelations of Qunari culture indicates that they are a people of immense strength and passion that is controlled by equal amounts of iron will and unquestionable determination.I would imagine that the Ogre is a representation of Qunari nature at its worst,totally free of their strict rules..a huge,hulking mass of violence and strength..exactly what Sten became when he lost his sword =)

and who knows what disgusting transformation a Quanari female goes through when she becomes a broodmother. We saw how big dwarves gets *shudders*.

And we really don't know what female Qunari look like in the first place... maybe they ARE giant, and the men are tiny in comparison.
