I know this has been discussed a lot latey, but it really irritates me.
Today I checked every single human character I have and all of them have already all the visual upgrades including lights, yet when I open the box, what do I get? Something human. I also got human female vanguard again today, but my vanguard is lvl 20 so not even the point boost will help it so what is the point of getting it?
I dont think we should be able to recive them when we are lvl 20 and all our visuals are pimped.
Thats just my 2 cents though :/
One more point to class unlocks...

Yep duplicate items/rewards, by far the biggest problem with the system
Also relates to weapons and upgrades.

Well weapons and upgrades improve your weapons and upgrades and I have never gotten any weapon once I reached the level X with it, but classes really do make me go NUTS!A4RiZ0812 wrote...

BW have said there's a reason you get class Cards past Lvl20/max appearance options...though they haven't revealed the actual content reason, only saying that it'll be known to us all in the full game.
One assumes it's because you Promote your Special Forces to the war effort, resetting them.

In some ways I don't mind getting duplicates. The way I see it the "unlock" system has very limited value anyway. Once you unlock everything then what's really the point??
In a way I view ME3 MP like Diablo ... You party up with folks, you kill waves of monsters, you get to the final level, get the job done, then you look at your loot. Almost always the loot is "junk" but once in a while you get a shiny new toy and that reward prospect is part of what keeps you coming back.
As a compromise I would certainly like to see pack that you could buy. Perhaps it would cost 100K or so but you got a guaranteed gold-level unlock and overall would be "better" at getting the elite items than 5 Veteran packs. [Thus justifying the cost]
