Did they ever launch the Vegas one? ._.
Yup.
Made it into the desert, and Bioware had to haul it back to a safer location...where people converged (last I heard, that was going to be some rest stop).

To make it further north than the CT/MA border (if it were heading in any sort of northerly direction) would take FREAKY wind speeds and sheer luck. Likely it will travel somewhere between 50 and 100 miles, total distance (and probably closer to 50), from it's launch location.
Yeah, I know. I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. I can still dream, though.

Just woke up here in New York and looked out my window to see a beautiful sunny day with not a cloud in site. But just when I got my hopes up I went on my porch and damn was it windy. I live by the beach in Coney Isalnd so hopefully it is calmer inland but based on the weather conditions I got this gut feeling the ballon is heading straight to the ocean or on top of a skyscraper.
Ohh man! I can't wait!! This would be so funny!!

At least yesterday, when they were running late, we got some updates. Today...zippo.

I'm on long island and I am even doubting whether to get my hopes up. I have a feeling there will be a bunch of people at Montauk (the end of the island) watching it sail over the horizon.... At least there is a nice little light house/museum/gift shop!

Not what they did with Vegas...they just scrapped the first launch and put all the copies on one balloon...and then forgot to activate the primary tracker.

I wouldn't think it wise to assume they wouldn't do something. They should give us an update though.... "Alive, preparing. Keep your space suits on!" or something. Some of us are on 4 hours of sleep after driving 250 miles.... naps are welcome.
Granted, we don't KNOW what they'll do today.
But we do know what they did yesterday....
