If it reached Nassau, I'd be happy.Benchpress610 wrote...
But it is VERY windy today. This thing might go WAY beyond 100 miles. Just hoping it reaches at least Nassau county in Long Island
If it got pushed to the south shore of Nassau, I'd be VERY happy.

Surface winds are gusty...not sure about the winds in the upper atmosphere.
It MIGHT go way beyond 100 miles....I'm not sure it will go closer to 200 than to 100 (ie: over 150 miles).

Using Palmerton as updated point (40.801483,-75.610187), from same site used earlier, predicted landing point is just north of Chesterfield, CT (41.452,-72.207). Good spot for it...very rural.
is that where you live, hmmm also you can maybe wait there if it goes far enough lol

Damn if I didn't have a doctor appointment I would be all over this. If this thing is still up in the air I may make a run for it. I live in the Brooklyn south area so I have a slim chance.
Have fun getting through traffic

Nah...I'm in the NW corner of CT...be about an hour drive for me. I know the area pretty well, though. I'm leaving in about 10 min to go to my daughters B-ball game. I'll check progress when I get back around 11 and see if it's worth running for based on where it is at that point.
i dont think it will land by then

I don't either...but I'll be able to get a good idea of the trajectory and head out to chase it (while my wife plays mission control back herre at the house), if it looks like it'll land somewhere relatively close (an hour or so away).
