How do you think you'd be able to PLAY the game on your console without the physical disk?VoteDogbert wrote...

Maybe they only put two in the case, in-case it lands in the ocean, participants can still get some games..
That makes the most sense. I mean, they dumped $1200 into a tree and a cliff and almost lost another $1200 in the middle of the desert. The LAST thing they need is tossing another $1200 into the sea. And that's just the games, not counting the price of the equipment they sent with it.
Yes I KNOW they're not getting the money anyway, the point is nobody else was either.
the cost of the pysical game is minimal your paying 50 bucks for the content, not the disk and case.
your not understanding me here, they didn't lose $1200 worth of games, they lost about 10 bucks in plastic. the data is what has value not the plastic dvds.
yes, but the data of the game isn't a finite resorce, they can make infinate copies with zero loss of value. bioware or really EA isn't paying 50 bucks a pop for these games; They pay the cost of having the disk and case made. and are giving away the licence to the data.

balls it's hardly climbing
It'll take it longer to climb with the inclimate weather. Which means that it will take it longer to reach its maximum height that will make it come down again. Which means it will go much further than it would have originally.

Which is why they lightened the load as much as they could. So that it could climb faster and pop before it gets over the ocean.
