I am glad this event is going well opposed to how SF went. Which was hilarious.

I hope those who won those copies have fun. ^^

Bleh, Vegas one was so much better. It was like an expedition. People searching in desert. People traveling for miles and miles to get there.

NY was go to someone's yard, retrieve, win. Boring.

Agreed. Well I can't say because I wasn't in the NY race, but Vegas simply had a great story and it was far more suspenseful!

So how were the NY prizes handed out? Was it like Vegas where most of it was distributed via lottery or did one person actually win all of the swag?

So was there any sort of NDA that needed to be signed upon winning a Space Edition? Just out of curiosity.

No red tape for the Vegas balloon. However, being the goodhearted people we are, we're keeping everything spoiler free.

Sleepee - many thanks to you and the team for the Unboxing - Most of us never held any hope of obtaining one of the Space copies - but the $10,000,000 we want to know is:

"What is the unique loot contained in your ultra-rare version that isn't already in the CE/DDE versions??"

Thanks !!

Uhh, to be honest? Nothing. The only thing that even remotely shows that it's been in space is that the case is smashed in on one corner. Presumably, this is where it came down on a rock when it landed.

Is the one from SF still hanging from a cliff?

Well, I did get a hat. Got there a little late, thought it would be up for longer an went to take a shower. Ended up being about 20 minutes too late to grab one of the 12 copies given out.

They've both been deemed unrecoverable.

There are affidavits they have to sign. They dropped the ball on that one while they were giving them away...they gave affidavits to some (including my roommate) and then ended up raffling them all off...pretty much everyone who got one ran off without signing an affidavit, and the people who actually had hard copy affidavits didn't get one. XD Nick Clifford emailed us all this morning with the affidavit attached saying those who got a copy needed to sign it, even if it was electronically. It says that you cannot post spoilers, video of the game, pictures, or anything. I can produce the document itself if anyone is interested in reading it.

@Sleepee - Good thing you're not posting spoilers. You're legally bound not to until March 6. ;D

Edit: Or, at least, your friend is. Though I don't think it would be a good idea for anything to be posted here anyway, lest it come down on your friend's head. XD

I don't see how, following a script leak, there is anything that really qualifies as a spoiler in that context anymore.

So I noticed BioWare's website has been down since earlier this morning.

Any news from the launch/launches in London?

Ah finally got the entry to work, Just needed to change page location to UK, worryingly the rules say the schedule for the London launch is the 24th, but the frontpage still says 27th, hope thats just a typo.

Got the upper wind forecast charts could be a wet landing....
