Heh. The Berlin launch is supposed to be a Wednesday. That means the damn thing would have to be blown 800 km to the south for me to even have a chance of picking it up.

Assuming the games are actually on board (and I'm not sure that's a safe assumption..could just be a game case, or token) altitude wouldn't damage the disks.
They come down via controlled decent (parachute, usually)...but the impact is still pretty rough. I suppose if you pack the game in secure packing material...nothings going to get too jostled. But I would also assume that EA's folks have 'replacements" on hand...just in case something untoward does happen.
