So, let me get this straight, Bioware and EA. You cry over piracy and instigate draconian measures, to protect your profits...then you go and launch copies of your product into space...

There is a severe lack of intelligence and judgement somewhere between the two of you.

sir you are in the wrong thread to sprout off that crap.

this isnt about piracy stop trying to drag that  into this thread shoo

How did people find out the balloon names on the aprs? I looked at the mass effect site and their launch "tracking" map is WAAAAY behind the actual location in real time.

Wonder if they realize earth is mostly water and that the odds of these things landing anywhere on land on the planet is rather remote.

They'd have to have send hundreds of these up to have any chance of them coming back down over land... let alone in habitated parts of the planet.

Silly stunt.

Why is it a silly stunt? It's a brilliant stunt and it's getting a lot of attention, which is the whole point of marketing. Now, if none of us cant find it, it'll be a real bummer FOR US, but not for them.

Would love to have live stream video from the balloons themselves. :)

Maybe in Mass Effect 4. :P
