I read on a twitter feed that NRMNDY might be on state land, and going to actually retrieve it would be tresspassing.  Don't know if that's true, though.

Could be someone found it, could be EA is moving it, could be they have a state ranger moving it.....

They probably put something in the balloon so they will start going down after so far, these 2 didn't go anywhere really. Which makes me sad, i'd ride the cog train up there and just wait, then spend the 2hour decent yelling at every old lady that I GOTZ IT HA HA

It'd be like Shephard's ultimate face off. All the military people here and the mountains - it would be so epic. But if it happened to land in one of the bases I doubt the guards would be amused at my hopping the fence and then screaming about Mass Effect like a rabid loon.

I'd be surprised if it was anywhere in the city, proper.  Because trying to gain elevation without smacking into a large building is going to be tough.....you're going to need enough open space in the direction of the prevailing winds, for it to gain altitude without crashing into something and risk damaging the baloon.
