Also on a serious note as I said earlier in this post Link, so make sure he has pants or high socks to better protect him from thorny plants & Insects & that he doesn't wander too far from his vehicle to stay safe from coyote's & mountain lions.

But above all... NEVER underestimate the Jackalopes.

They are going to lauch two more ballons in New York on Saturday, so if the wind is blowing North you may have a chance.

I guess you could say overall that this has been a failure. I was hoping to get some new youtube videos by tomorrow.

Mind you, this is just San Francisco. You have the rest of the cities launching later. In any case, it was a PR stunt to garner attention to the release of the game, which it did. You'll probably have videos before march 6th by at least one person who gets the early copy, so I wouldn't worry

 A friend and I are going to try to be at the first launch in Vegas, since I live here. We're hoping that there are no strong winds tomorrow lol.

So no news so far on the San Francisco ones? It seems the map on the ME website is "stuck", it's been like that for a few hours now.

The projected flight path has it landing somewhere near Dolan Springs, AZ, just northwest of Kingman.

I didn't mean to downplay your concerns; I completely understand that.  I'm just trying to make a few laughs and having fun.

The ME twitter states that the first launch will be near the Luxor at 7 AM. I'm guessing it'll be at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, since that's pretty close by. If not, maybe some parking garage somewhere?

They know where they are, they just can't get to them because they're in 300 foot redwood trees and stuck to the sides of cliffs. XD

@goodventure: I don't know, we'll just have to see where they end up letting it go from. I can't imagine why they wouldn't do it in the courtyard in front of the Luxor, though.

For those that were apart of today's festivities did you by chance run into someone named "Nick" I was parked waiting for SHEPRD all afternoon. I went up to any car that was parked on the side of the road asking if they were there for Mass effect space.

I first drove onto a dirt road that would have gotten me close when I was asked to leave. I didn't know it was private property at the time. I also asked two other ranches (K&S and PIE) for access but they weren't gonna have it.

What a messed up day, and the drive back on 17 was murderous.

I hope they do the right thing for those of us that were there today. I know there were more people looking for NRMDY since it was first. I knew better and when I saw that the second balloon was taking a similar trajectory I parked the car on highway 1 and waited till it stoped moving.
