A bit of an update - the launch of the Vegas balloon will be at around 10:50 AM. Not certain on which callsign this balloon will have yet. Video coming in soon.
Also - take note that the Paris launch won't be happening. There are too many Reapers in the sky and the balloon will just pop on one of their pointy leg things. (we couldn't get it through Parisian regulations in time because we brought a balloon to a jumbo jet fight when it comes to legalities)
can they launch it somewhere else then?
Good question! And hey if you guys want to launch it in ATL we'll be waiting with open arms and deep fried goodies! Just putting it out there...

How about Berln launch? When will it happen? Morning? Noon? And what if the balloon drifts over the border? To say... Poland?

Wednesday.
Assuming they don't run into ''Weather technical difficulties'' like they did today.

That is outrageous! Why is there no angry smiley? Well, in that case, could you organize something else? I mean, you were planning on giving things out, so you should still try to find a way to give them out. Maybe a treasure hunt?
That is the most depressing news I've heard. Can I buy it from you guys then? I'll come to your Parisian office if I have to. You can't just outright cancel it. Ugh....

Violation of international borders and Poland will declare war on Bioware.

If they're not allowed to launch it due to legalities... They kind of can.

No, the first person also gets a bunch of goodies and stuff (and I think the first runner ups also get some stuff besides the game). And it's also about the experience of actually hunting down the balloon and hoping you beat the rest, the excitement and all the good things surrounding that. Haven't you read what those who did the SF launch wrote?
I was actually planning on trying to find a way to participate, finding a car and a telephone equipped with 3G internet or whatever.
I am serious, Bioware. At least give another way for french players to get their hands on it. A contest where you draw random people, a treasure hunt, just giving it to the first french players who ask you for it (like me:P). Please, don't just leave it at that!

Hugs with maybe some unwanted groping from the bioware staff.
