This website is very, very sketch on mobile...

Any chance we can have the other frequency on the later launch, Jesse?

just confirming... nobody actually has gotten to the SF ones yet right? one on a cliff and one on private property in a tree?

They're currently shooting marbles and arrows at the one in the tree. No news on the other one yet.

Fail. Where's that human catapult?

.... The 10 hour drive down there from my place would be worth it to see that.

What happened to the 9 AM launch, then? There were supposed to be two!

My understanding is that with the wind conditions the original launch location would have taken it over the airport so wasn't approved by the FAA. Hence the delay and single launch today.

Just so you know it looks like the GPS unit for this balloon is sending an update every 10 minutes.

The plan is to use the APRS site if we can but they have a limited number of units and some are still stuck in the wilderness. :)

Why is there only one launch on the site when there were supposed to be two today? The site also is not updating every 10 minutes...despite what the GPS unit may be telling you.

you know what would be funny?
if Bioware just said "screw it," went and hid a downed baloon in the middle of the desert and then posted updates on the website to make it look like thats where it flew...
