Can someone update me on the news of today?

Short version -- the Vegas launch was delayed and so two loads were sent up with one balloon. It traveled a lot farther than planned, and apparently the APRS tracker wasn't functioning, so the teams are looking for it based on the emergency broadcast signal.

It's landed somewhere near Golden City, Arizona -- as far as anyone can tell. It hasn't been found yet. The last set of coords they have does not appear to be where the balloon actually is, and nobody's sure if it landed somewhere else, or if someone found it and made off with it before the retrieval teams could get to it.

As far as I know, people are still looking, and Bioware's in the area (and they don't have it either).

I knew Vegas would be more exciting than SF. lol

By the way, the copies of SF were retrieved by BioWare?

Nope I think only the two first or the first one(s) will get the copies. If anyone who'd searched for it would get one, they would surely go over 100 faster than they imagined. So now that the Vegas copy is found, what about the SF copy that got stuck up in the tree?

After seeing the map showing the thing at the Mexican border earlier, I'm wondering if either someone misread/mistranscribed some coordinates, or if the GPS is acting up. Of course, maybe some scuzzbag's already jacked it.

Edit: Hallelujah. 1/3 packages retrieved!

I'm glad they're doing it. People would stay out there all night if they didn't do it.
