I spent a lot of time playing the demo and i rarely unlocked an alien race let alone the weapon i really want (IM a good damn infiltrator let me buy the widow bioware!) i was dissapionted when i saw that they are hardy customizable so i need to unlock 1 alien race like 5 times to unlock everything...And it can take days, weeks, months or even years becouse this terrible random system...So when they talked about the mp customization they really forgot to mention that you have to start grinding like hell to get what you want just like in a stupid MMO.
I have a bad feeling.

Ah, but in most MMOs you actually get to choose your race/class/gender when you start, not to mention the customization. The "grind" is usually limited to gear, which is what I think should apply to ME multiplayer as well.
It's a bit misleading, considering that previous announcements made it sound like you could play anything from the start.
Alas, I'm surprised at the number of people who actually like/favour the current system, but as always there is no accounting for taste and preferences will always differ.

Yeah it sucks, biggest thing for me is unlocking the same items again & gain like the same new weapon, same character, scope, increase mag size etc. Don't mind cobra missiles, medi gel, etc
Remember its a demo, they are aware of these issues so problems should be solved in full game.

Maybe you are right, i hope they are reading the forums and listen to us to make the system somewhat better and fix the issues.

If there's anything that is terribad, it's unlocking "new customizations for your new COLORFUL ARMOR" when you're waiting for the turian sentinel.
