At least here if you didn't get what you want you still got something!

The last 26 veteran packs (i.e. 520k credits) got me absolutely NO golden cards. No thank you. This system blows.

Nope. If anything i prefer gears because .
1. they infact ask me to challenge myself by completing certain tasks in the heat of battle.
2. its just in good spirit, most of those medal dont even give you anything people just like to say theyve do it and wear the title.
This is almost as bad as lost planet 2

The Pack system is nice and all and a good concept...I just think they should increase drop ratios on things. Getting weapon upgrades is nice, but I'd very much like upgrades for classes.

I can bet good money there will be a 3rd costly pack that has a higher % of gold drop rates.
Probably the "Elite pack" or "Specter Pack".

Probably, and if I know EA as well as I do...they'll probably have some sort of $2.99 DLC that lets you buy a pack.

I completely agree with you Vetto. The system as it is now is fun so long as you're not an impatient child who feels they should have everything they want immediately. It adds longevity to the game, makes getting upgrades you want much more enjoyable, and makes playing addictive.

I'm impressed by the level of self-righteousness and arrogance in this post. Is it really that incomprehensible that people who have been teased with the option to "choose from a variety of classes and races" for many months are now a bit miffed by that choice not being available? Is it so hard to understand that the community of a roleplaying video game franchise actually includes roleplayers that were looking forward to play a specific class/race/gender combo in multiplayer as well, for the first time creating their first "own" ME character?Des0lace wrote...
