Mass Effect 3 is on the horizon (and for the few and lucky [word censored by profanity filter (j/k)], LITERALLY on the horizon), and the wait couldn't get any more difficult for some. Anyways, this thread is about your dream shore party.

Which TWO squadmates would you take on EVERY mission (i.e. your dream shore party)?

For me, a Sentinel, it's the following two:

- Urdnot Wrex: he's funny, bad****, and both a powerful biotic and skilled marksman. Plus, he always gets his way... or he will eat you.
- Garrus Vakarian: he and Wrex are literally a pair, and both complement and balance out the Tech and Biotic capabilities of the squad.

How about you? Remember: ONLY two squadmates (i.e. the shore party limit), and also kindly mention your  class. As always, BioWare staff are welcome to comment.

Well since Wrex isn't a squadmate in ME3 (at least not to my knowledge) I assume you mean from the available squad pool of any game. In which case the answer is simple.
Miranda and Kasumi. I would be perfectly happy if the Normandy just had Miranda, Kasumi, Joker flying the ship and random NPC crewmen on the console things.
Oh I'm an Infiltrator by the way.

Mine would be Wrex and Garrus too!
But because I don't know the new squaddies in ME3, that might still change
I like Wrex to have a shotgun, Garrus have a sniper and I use the assault rifle, so we cover all ranges of enemies, hehe.
I always play as an Engineer (I prefer using the abilities) and I like Wrex and Garrus' abilities too

I always play as a soldier or a vanguard and my perfect shore party would be:
Kaidan & Liara for ME3
I always like to have a pretty biotic heavy team.
But if you're talking about anyone who has EVER been available as a squaddie then:
Kaidan & Ashley
I miss that comfortable dynamic between the three of them (Kai/Ash/Shep) Nostalgic ME1 times...

I either play a Vanguard or Engineer, and on both classes:

Garrus: Always been a favourite, and having someone shout "IMPRESSIVE" at you every now and then is always welcome.

Legion: Legion's just awesome. Plus on Engineer class 2 drones make things hilarious.

Having two snipers watching your back can't be a bad thing.  I just hope Legion joins the party again..

Ashley and Kaidan had some great chemistry together though... *sigh*

then it'll be Ash and Garrus again.

I vary my base squad with every character though, so everyone gets a chance.
On main characters (I mean my main Shepards, as dull as it sounds) I used to choose squadmates to the environment. If I'm invading a tech heavy world, I bring Legion, if massacre is to be expected, I bring Wrex, if I count on some hostage scenarios or similar stuff that requires a precise approach, I bring Garrus, etc.

As a Vanguard, it's going to be.... wait for it.... wait for it...

Garrus and Tali. Just like it turned into in 1 as soon as I got some levels. Just liked it turned into in 2. Occasionally Thane and Mordin tag in for Tali.


My other characters have a bit more flexibility, but tauntbot+sniper in 2, shotgun and sniper in 1 get me out of way too many vanguard jams. Unsurprisingly, that particular Shepard has the best relationship with Garrus and Tali in my headcannon.

Kaidan and Liara! Hopefully I can bring both of them on every single mission in ME3. Both of them were on my main team when I beat Saren and Sovereign, so the nostalgia alone of having them back on my team is enough to bring them everywhere across the galaxy. Plus I love biotics.

Originally in ME1 my paragon soldier always brought Kaidan and Ashley along, but Liara replaced Ashley after Virmire.

In case I can't bring one of them on a mission, then I'm definitely biased towards Garrus or Tali, just because they were original ME1 squad.

Liara+Tali probably. Though maybe not ME2 Tali, since she's not that great vs non-synthetics

(Though in practice I prefer to switch things around. I don't like feeling someone is a passenger.

I play as a vanguard. I try to use everyone, but I use the ones I like least during easy assignments.

ME1: Garrus & Ashley, occasionally Liara
ME2: Garrus & Miranda, occasionally Jack
ME3: Probably same as ME1

Soldier Shep here, too. Kaiden & Garrus all the way. I LOVE that sniper rifles were updated in ME2. I hope they're just as good in ME3. I like the idea of my squad members all using a different primary weapon.
