Legion + Javik

Or either listed above.

I really enjoy all the squadmates but my top one will probably be Kaidan and Garrus. They've been there since the beginning (Besides at one point...I'm looking at you Kaidan. But Shepard forgives.) and we are bros...besides the fact that Shepard ish a female for me.

My mainShepard is a vanguard.
My ideal team was a reality in ME2: Thane and Garrus.

I wish I could keep them both around in ME3 but at least Garrus will still be there, I guess. Still don't know who I'm going to pair Garrus up with. Not fond of any of the choices as of yet.

After playing MP I´m taking Liara anywhere I half-expect a Phantom to show up. Really love to use Stasis on them.

Consider this:

Commander Shepard is worth approaching infinity as both genders. Let's not discuss VA quality because I like both VA's.

Kaidan Alenko is worth 1/2 Commander Shepard. Hence he is worth 1/2 approaching infinity.
Garrus Vakarian is worth 5/6 Kaidan Alenko (5/12 Commander Shepard, just a bit less), also LI for Femshep.
Miranda Lawson is worth 1/2 Kaidan Alenko (3/12 Commander Shepard), also LI for Maleshep.
Urdnot Wrex is worth 1/2 Garrus Vakarian (2.5/12 Commander Shepard)

Tali and Liara are not really on the scale, but they get the award for most improved characters from ME1 to ME2, so they're also favourites.

The other squaddies are either acceptable but not really approaching infinity (Zaeed, Mordin, Jacob, Thane), or actually bad characters (Ashley, Jack, Anderson, Morinth).

I play three simultaneous Shepards: Soldier Maleshep, Infiltrator Femshep and Adept Maleshep. The Soldier fights with the top two (or the the top two under the first one in ME1), the Infiltrator fights with Tali and Liara, and the Adept fought with Ashley in the first game and Zaeed + Jacob in the third game because he wasn't really charismatic.

I have found the enjoyment of being an adept and so I would probably go with Garrus and Tali. With Garrus able to provide support from a distance (when he is not running into enemy fire...stupid PS3) and Tali's drones, along with my biotic abilities, it's IMO a very balanced grouping.

Out of all the games, my original ME1 squad of Wrex & Tali would be my optimal choice. Out of the ME3 squad, Tali & probably Liara just for her powers-- I really don't like ME3's squad at all.

Tali and Garrus. It's tradition. Javik too. Probably not so much Ashley or James. Def not EDI. She belongs on the ship.

It depends on who I am romancing. I'll bring whoever I am romancing throughout the entire game. Unless they aren't squad mates. I have 10 to 12 playthroughs so I'll use everyone at some point and it completely depends on who we get as squad mates.

But my favorites:

Garrus+Liara (Awkward since in my 1st playthrough I "cheated" on Liara with Garrus)
Wrex + Liara/Garrus (Unless Wrex isn't a squad mate)
Garrus+Tali
Garrus+VS
VS+Vega
Vega+Garrus
Tali+Legion
VS+Liara
Javik+VS
Javik+Garrus
Javik+Liara

I'll bring Javik a lot. If Legion and Jack are squad mates at some point, I'll be bringing them a lot. But for my first ME3 playthrough I am bringing Garrus every time.

As for classes:

Same here, same here. Garrus (sniper), Wrex (tank, biotics), Shep (Sentinel, anything from melee to secondary sniper support).

Both usually have interesting stuff to say, and I'd like to see how they get along in ME3. They were my staple choice in ME 1.

In ME1 Ashley and Garrus were the ones I brought everywhere. In ME2 Miranda with Mordin or Garrus was my dream team. In ME3 hard to say I've heard Vega was made to work best with Garrus and a biotic Shep so I might give him a go.

Ashley & Garrus, literally all I ever did in ME1 though ocassionally threw in Wrex. Funnily enough I rarely ever took a biotic squadmate into battle, Samara probably got the most time with Garrus in ME2.
