Javik & EDI for my first soldier playthrough, with the occasional Vega, Garrus & Kaidan. I'll probably mix these five up more in my other playthroughs.
I love Tali (not so much Liara) but they'll be sitting on the bench in this game.

In terms of my "ideal" party, well... I'd like the options for Legion, Zaeed, Samara, Wrex, Grunt, Kasumi & Thane. 
Because a shore party consisting of Javik & Legion would be just... epic. Probably Javik & Wrex/Grunt as well. And Javik & Zaeed.

Ashley, powerful solider, love interest loyal to the end.
Samara, helps with paragon choices, love her morals and personality (tried to make love interest got shot down)

samra is a strong boitic that wields an assault rifle, ashley is a tank. and me the head popper. Similar tactics have been used for both me and me 2 insanity playthroughs. ROLL ON 3
