I was surprised this morning. Finally got a shipping email from EA with a tracking number. I checked UPS's site, naturally, and it says my package was shipped 2ND day air on friday? That is crazy awesome. 
I wanted to get overnight shipping at first, until I saw the ludicrous price increase. So I went with the free shipping option, and now it looks like I may have the game either today or tommorow. I'm definitely pleased.
