Which I think is total BS.  Why should Gamestop get exlusive content.  i really doubt a majority of Bioware's sales are from Gamestop.  Now if they just made it each store or online store got different items for free and you could buy the rest then that would be something different in my opinion.

The point of pre-order DLC isn't for the sake of the devs, but for the stores themselves because there's no other way for them to really advertise why consumers should buy such and such game at their particular store versus another selling it for the same price.

This. I was pissed my N7 weapons were incomplete, and I'd already pre-ordered the CE from GameStop. After hearing about the Preorder bonuses, I was doing the happy dance. I'm revving up a Shepard who wears N7 armor only throughout all games (my canonShep). Obviously ME 1 is the biggest pain in that regard, but the bonuses for the N7 Warfare Gear.... Heheheheh!:devil:

Also, I ordered from GameStop because I absolutely refused to have to wait a few days to get my game, and even though my town has a BestBuy, I don't shop there much. I go to GameStop for games, and either Wal-Mart or Amazon for movies and TV Box Sets. Best-Buy rarely gets my business. As in, only when I have a gift-card from them.

GS got the Terminus Assault Armor in ME2 and I kicked myself in the ass for two years for not pre-ordering it.

So to ensure a maximum lack of kicking myself in the ass, I pre-ordered a normal copy from Gamestop to get the N7 Defender Armor, and pre-ordered the DDE from Origin for everything else.

Yes I'm a consumer twit, least when it comes to Mass Effect that is.

I would like it if Bioware post launch made this DLC available for everyone else though.

The N7 Defender Armor is not part of the Origin pre-order benefits. Its a GS Exclusive, just like the Terminus Assault Armor was.

Terminus Assault wasn't all that great, but this is an actual N7 set with a nice variant design so I'm all for it.

Outside US, origin DDE preorder gives you everything. Only in US you do not get the armor via origin

For the armor? No. Gamestop just happens to be the closest gaming store I have to my house, and I much prefer in store pick ups to waiting on the postal service since the latter often delays my deliveries by several days.
At this point the armor and gun are just icing on the cake, meant for sweetening the deal. I really couldn't care less about them either way.

I preordered the hard copy of the CE from GAME UK, so i'll get everything but the Raider (N7 Warfare, Argus, CE N7 Weapons etc.). I have all ME2 DLC weapons and armour, so those'll be there too. The Amalur promos have also been obtained, and i'll make sure to swipe a Raider code from Ebay on the American release so that when my country gets it, my Shep will be CRAZY PREPARED.

I pre ordered from GameStop for the N7 Rifle and Defender Armor. Even if I can't get the whole pack (As I missed out on getting the Collectors Edition) I WILL at least have the rifle!

It's always worth to pre-order because even though you shell out 5 dollars it counts towards to total, so it is free. That or just pay off the game. So the DLC is COMPLETELY free for pre-orders.
