It took me a while to get used to the MP Adept. In all honesty, I thought that they were kind of squishy, and I was kind of grumpy about it. Well, last night I played with some friends who taught me Adepts - we went in with 3 Adepts and an Engineer. Cerberus never stood a chance, and I've never gotten so many headshots and assists in a game.

Adepts are face rapists - plain and simple. We are so powerful that its not funny. An Adept on the team can make things go SO much more smoothly because of the synergy they create as well as crowd control.

Got a pesky Nemesis or Phantom bugging you? No problem! We even punish the good old Atlas because we hit SO hard.

I hope that people who play the Adepts have as much fun as I do.

If they nerf Stasis I am switching to Salarian infiltrator. Proximity mines destroy atlas faster than Warp+throw, tested.

i just answer that with a few words:

- full game
- geth
- other enemy races
- singularity
- biotics won't work as they do for Cerberus Troops

Unfortunately i can see them rather nerf stasis then change all the other biotics. That, or there will be alot more stasis immune enemies in the full game, cant judge now without full info.

did you notice that every other class is using weapons as well? well... might be so because weapons are an essential in ME.

In me1 weapons were not essential, because it was more rpg, than tps. In me2, me3 weapons are much more important and skills just adding some utility, but nothing more.

You're saying in ME you're killing faster without weapons than in ME2 or ME3? I think you're fooling yourself.

think about the other ME's Stasis never stunned mechanical enemys. this is the point where Stasis is useless and Singularity will be effective again. thats what i wanted to say, and god damn already have said like 4 times in this thread now. stop whining and PLEEEEASE just wait for the full game

Stasis in Mass Effect 2 works on mechanical enemies. About the only thing it didn't work on was gunships and harbinger. I don't remember in Mass Effect haven't played in ages, but I know it worked on Thresher Maws.

Yes you are. You are using weapons for most of the time, but when you use powers, you are killing with those a lot faster than with weapons.

But whinning makes me feel better! I rage, laugh it out, calm down and deal with it. Doesn't change the fact that it is retarted of course. But come on, we all know that none of my 3 points back in OP will make it to the full game now do we?

I am what?
In ME you could kill with biotics but less reliable than now (no detonating) and CD's used to be way longer.

I can agree that some biotics really need a buff, but I think the OPs suggestions will be a "enter god mode" buff. Biotics too need some weaknesses, like everyone else.

the problem is that you are thinking there actually is a problem while there is none because you havent played the full game in its whole mechanics. theres no need to fix it if it's not broken... but noone knows :P

Didn't I write a proposal of every biotic power used draining atleast 50% of barrier?

No it was more reliable, you didn't even need to detonate anything. And I would take a biotic throw that has has a 30 sec cooldown, if it insta-killed a bunch of soldiers or a phantom for me, in a heartbeat over what we have now.

btw... if you really want that 50% barrier draining per biotic power usage... adepts will get useless as hell

See? You think it will be useless. Which means it won't be OP, that's good.

Not very useless though. Activate singularity that lifts shielded enemies, warp them at once without cooldown, run for cover with no barrier left, or catch a Nemesis bullet and go down. High risk, high reward.

Yes but that isn't a very good idea. It will encourage you to just sit behind a L-shaped cover use two biotic abilities in rapid succession wait 5s for your barrier to come back and repeat. It will create a one size fits all defensive minded approach where ironically you will be using your gun far more than your biotics.

Unless you're wanting biotics to do damage similar to Nova but be at a 30m range which will just make things far to easy.

The fundamental problem is that he wants a CC class to be godly at both CC and dps. While we're at it we should allow all shots by soldiers under the influence of marksman/fortification/adrenaline rush to instantly knock the enemy down on the ground, regardless of protection. This change is needed because a revenant soldier just lacks the cc needed to mow down entire waves of enemy soldiers. With this change I can feel like a total bad**** like the heavy weapons people in those action games giving godly suppresive fire. Of course every 20 seconds or so he will have to reload as compensation.
