Hi,

I would love it if if I would be able to completely remap every button on my 360 controller as I would if using a keyboard and mouse.  There are two main issues I'm having.  Firstly, I would like the ability to remap my biotic powers so that the ones I use most are always LB and RB instead of Y.  This is a problem because when you are casting the Y ability you need to move your thumb off of the right stick to press Y, which means you can't actually aim where you are casting the Y ability.  This is a problem if the Y ability is any sort of projectile that requires aiming, and often results in missign the target.  It would be huge improvement if you could just map the least used ability to Y or one that doesn't require aiming with the right stick (fortification for example).  Secondly, I sometimes take cover or roll when attempting to revive someone, as far as I know the back button isn't being used at all, it would be great if I could map that function to that button.  It would also require the ability to split up the functions of the action button so that A would still be cover and roll.

Theres just no reason not to give users more flexibility.  This functionality could also be useful for disabled gamers.  I mean who knows, maybe someone wants to make B shoot and RT melee.  I could also see someone wanting to remap functions from the D pad (because its so aweful) to other buttons.  (sometimes I die when I pull out the rocket launcher when attempting to hit right on the dpad).

Thank you.

There is an "MLG UbEr SuPeR TriiCkZz" way of holding the controller called "The Claw" or something. I remember some halo guys telling me about it, you move your index finger to press the pretty coloured buttons instead of your thumb, to allow you to move and cast at the same time. Or in their case, switch weapons or melee or whatever you do on Halo MLG to "BK ScRuBZz"

I'm a PC guy through and through so I don't know what I'm talking about, but perhaps something like this could be of use to someone: http://www.avengercontroller.com/

Well I think that is the ovbious change for many people.  But again, some people are literally one handed and need much more customization than most of us.  Is it really that much work?  I'm sure they already have to write the code for it on the PC.

Though that might actually work better, why should we have to do it?

I just want to put Charge on a bumper so I don't have to take my thumb off the right stick. Having to move back and forth between the stick and Y button in order to readjust the target has almost gotten me killed a few times or at least at a single health unit.
