I'd give it a computer virus, and then destroy it alongside Will Smith.
I'm an intelligent young slacker with technical skills. I have "main character" written all over me.
Wanna come hang out at my ranch? We have shooting ranges XD

Can we stop by and do my loyalty mission on the way?
I know the Reapers are real and have trust in our leader...but I'm not gonna give my all unless you find my lost puppy.
That died 4 years ago. Also, wouldn't the reapers figure that nukes would be the only weapon useful against them? You'd think a race that can make mass relays in the middle of a galaxy could figure out a way to stop ICBMs or have protection from the blast of such a weapon.

This generaly means that all the high end military kit you see in the news and stuff today, chances are its been around since the 60's, and even better stuff exists behind closed doors.
I wouldn't be suprised if thay had some sort of Anti-son-of-a-b***h-machine that could bake cakes out of reapers.

Your assuming it's a stationary object. It isn't. It can easily dodge our unwieldy nukes.111987 wrote...
A nuke would easily handle a single Reaper. Modern day nukes have yields in the megaton range, while the most powerful dreadnaughts fire only in the lower kiloton range. The fallout would be bad and millions would die, but humanity could easily survive a single Reaper.

They certainly don't release everything though.Astrogenesis wrote...
Because of the Freedom Of Information Act of some time and somewhere (I forget :/ google it), the Govenments and Military (Area 51 *wink wink) have to release files on thier 'stuff' after about 50 yeras or so.

If Im not mistaken there are even ww1 files locked away... or "censored" so that the files are released as per legal requirement... but all the text has been painted over.

Well, they seemed pretty stationary when they landed on Earth, did they not?
Besides, you don't need a direct hit with a nuke. That's one of the main advantages of a nuke. It doesn't have to be loaded into a missile either; just strap it on a truck, distract the Reaper's guns by sending in the airforce, have the truck get as close as possible and good-bye Reaper.
The first level shows us how missiles can easily reach Reaper shields, they just aren't powerful enough to tear through them. If one of those missiles had been a nuclear missile, that Reaper would be dead (as would everyone else nearby).

If EMPS could hurt Reapers there would be a lot more dead Reapers. Safe to assume they can't.Izhalezan wrote...
What would EMPs do to a Reaper?

We can shut up its electronics and then take it down with 100000000000000 AC-130s.

You forget armies of husks. Ground movements would be damn near impossible with them.111987 wrote...

That's why you have to have a diversion, like I said. Have the airforce attack, plus a groundforce, and then just get the nuke as close as possible. If you're even within half a mile, that Reaper is toast.
Also like I said, you could still easily use missiles. The Reapers don't shoot down individual missiles, as we've seen in ME3 and ME1. Sure, you'd lose all the men on that mission and everyone still alive in that city, but you could definitely kill the Reaper.

I was just gonna mention this, people underestimate the power of nuclear weapons, even compared to fancy-pants future weapons. It's just that they're so unwieldy. But one reaper wouldn't stand a chance against the stockpile of even one major nation
1 Reaper took the brunt of the entire Citadel fleet without so much as a scratch.

A... scratch? Sovereign died. Exploded. I'm not sure what event you're referring to

Not exactly, I mean there was that whole geth fleet with it. On the other hand, it did kinda choo-choo through a Turian ship without slowing down.
