sounds good to me, I didn't want to give them my credit card number anyway. my bank account control number is a much better option.Jedi Sentinel Arian wrote...

ok, so I've been looking around on the tom's hardware forums, and I hear that the smart thing to do is to wait for the Ivy Bridge line to come out and wait for prices to drop, but the problem is that so many other smart people are doing the same thing that it will create enough demand that prices aren't going to drop more than $10-15. Anyone know if this is true?
(And don't answer that on your news feed, I'm avoiding that until well into my first ME3 run.)

I don't know, myself. To be honest I'm not totally up-to-date on the latest upcoming stuff is.
But, if you're willing to wait, it can't hurt. And if you want to buy now, you should go for it.

Sorry, I didn't see this.
Not a bad deal. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good.

okay, right now for storage, I'm thinking I'll get a 60gb SSD for the installation and a few of my favorite programs, and use an old 5400 rpm 120GB HDD that came out of my laptop for everything that won't fit . (I replaced it with a 500GB model about a year ago.) I'll probably get a 3.5" 1TB 7200 rpm when the prices are ack under control, but the markets still haven't recovered from the flooding in Thailand. Both of these are 2.5" disks, so I hear I'll probably need some extra equipment to hook them up to it. Any recommendations?

You don't need anything special for 2.5" drives. Most cases these days come with 2.5" mounting holes on their drive sleds.

Really? All right then. I might actually just go with the bundle above though, I just realized that it was almost exactly the same as the build I had planned now, only it gets a $110 discount and uses that to double the SSD drive size.
