you will need to do a partial game utility data install?
How large is the install?
P.S. Will the Xbox 360 version require disc swamping again?
"disc 1 then disc 2 ending with disc 1"

I dont like the sound of that. No HDD install on PS3 means slower loading. The whole purpose of installing on PS3 is Blu Ray has slow loading speeds.Ohei wrote...
According to someone who has snatched both PS3 and XBOX Space editions, there is no hard drive install this time around.

of course there are also other games that need no install whatsoever and have zero loading screens. Like Uncharted, God of war III etc.
Its all about coding if you ask me...

Yes but do you notice anything about those games? They are all PS3 exclusives. Those developers know the PS3's hardware better than Bioware so they can do that with no loading issues.

so i have the ps3 version and there is no install and the loading times are slow and my system overheats quicker because the disk keeps spinning more.

I was waiting for someone to say that these games are exclusives that is why this happens. Well there are multiplatform games that need no install whatsoever. Final Fantasy XIII for example.

That's a bad example since FF13 was developed for the PS3, and ported to the Xbox 360 late in the development cycle. I remember reading somewhere ages ago that the PS3 version was actually finished for nearly a year before release, but they sat on it until the 360 port was finished so both versions would launch simultaniously.
