I hear that once you hit level 20 for a class/character, you can promote them into the main game and the level will reset to one.jayarespike wrote...
I would rather level up each player, not each class, once we hit 120 the game is basically done, they need to keep us playing the multiplayer, look at halo and how the multiplayer can carry a game <halo 2>

That's the plan, they go into the war assets-meter in SP

Halo 2 didn't have character based leveling up and its multiplayer lasted for a really long time. I have no idea why you used that as your example when it proves you wrong.

BUT you start at level 1 even if you have another race of the same class unlocked at level 20. in other words retail would work differently to the demo.
