No, they just won't be on the Normandy with you. If you romanced them in ME2, then ME3 will know this, and you'll get the dialogue for it. Liara is a squadmate in ME3 though, so just in case, watch out for those romance traps!aLucidMind wrote...

I've seen extra break-up dialogue for Liara in ME3, so I'm not sure if that doesn't happen if you already broke up with her in LotSB, or if you'll have the chance again. Just saying, be careful with her dialogue. It's possible to start a romance with her again in ME3. I'll be completely avoiding her.

Would you say the Liara romance in ME3 for a loyal Shep is worth checking out? Or is it generally just very similar to a loyal romance with Kaidan or starting a new one with her?
I haven't played LotSB (or Arrival and Overlord lol) yet and this would be my first playthrough romancing Liara.

Liara's romance is very different from Kaidan's. I'm not sure how her romance changes from a loyal playthrough compared to one that just started in ME3. The spoilers I have show them as being very similar, but I don't know if they're complete.aLucidMind wrote...

I got ninja-manced once by the ****. Ashley died on Virmire and somehow she became my love interest. Even though my headcanon hates her (the mind-meld thing dug up very painful memories for him that he spent years trying to bury)
