Is there an origin for the warrior that doesn't start you off with either 1H/Shield or Dual-Wielding?  I want to do a 2H build and use Yusaris, but it really bothers me to waste talent points like that.

Yusaris, the dragonslayer. It's a pretty beastly 2H sword you get for one of the summoning quests in the circle tower. I don't remember the exact stats, but it's got massive fire resist and +10 damage to dragons. Pretty much a no brainer for taking on the High dragon.

the dawf origin gives you duel weapon sweep i guess it's not useful but it's only one talent point. sorry haven't played anyother warrior origins.

The Human noble warrior gives you shield bash so 1 point wasted. I'm level 16 atm and have two hand talents completely filled.

Honestly, without grabbing a mod you're just going to have to deal with it. But, with a 2h build you usually have a ton of str and usually a bit of constitution, at least that's how I build my 2h guys, so while you may not be the greatest tank the massive str will give you access to some pretty sweet armor and the constitution will help make up for the lack of avoidance due to low dex. It's always good to have someone who can take some damage just in case you goof and loose your primary damage sponge. That and in some fights that are really melee intensive its kind of nice to be able to effectively use a shield as the sword and board tree has a fair amount of CC and the shield gives you some much needed survivability.
