I hope they dumped that bit of dialog. It makes no sense. There were tons of reapers from previous cycles that harvested the Protheans. Stuff like this is why the character should never have been included.

it could be any number of things. ships, guns, buildings, breasts, etc etc

The number of reapers was smaller in his cycle.
or the reapers use parts the harvest to make themselves bigger in between cylces?

Well, I'm not sure that it would be any species in Shepard's cycle.

Why not? They were around, they just weren't capable of spaceflight. One of his lines is him expressing surprise that Liara (an asari) can read and write.

That being said, it could be any number of things.

I think he's referring to a Thresher Maw or Yahg though.

Wild guess is he was talking about thresher maws, considering a huge SOB maw takes on a reaper in one of the vids. Screw ships. Breed and train thresher maws! lol

All the dialogue for Prothy, Garrus, and EDI is from Sur'Kesh. He seems to be involved with ever conversation, just like any other squadmate. More dialogue in missions then Zaeed had, for sure.

He means the Reapers were.
They make new reapers for the next cycle using the races of the cycle they just destroyed.
Meaning the Reapers we're fighting now are likely reapers made during the Prothean cycle.

In one video I watched with Prothy dialogue, he said something like "Ammo was much smaller in my cycle" or something along those lines.
