Nope, I='m def. right here.
You are either a noob or just acting completely clueless then. Soldiers were assault rifle specials. Infiltrators...smgs and sniper rifles. Engineers and biotics...pistols. Play ME1 before you post something about it.
All classes carried all guns in ME1, and several in-game cutscenes had Shep using ARs when not a soldier. So the carrying/use of the AR did not and does not imply Shep was a soldier.
And its your n00bness and lack of ME1 knowledge that is showing here...SMGs weren't even in ME1:whistle:

Cause canon Shep is a soldier. Duh. If he were anything else he would have had the weapons of the class.

And there's still no such thing as canon.

Humans are the jack of all trades, master of none. krogans and turians are better soldiers, salarians are better infiltrators, quarians are better engineers, asari's are better biotics.
Vanguard may be more of a human thing as it is a soldier/biotic hybrid.
Arnt Turians and Humans about the same level in the soldier catagory

im pretty sure the asari and krogan were rocking the biotic-shotgun close combat style long before the humans even reached spacettt333 wrote...

the classes are just gameplay mechanics. Nothing more. We shouldn't confuse lore with itttt333 wrote...

In gameplay yes, not on the covers and most of the videos we see.

You fail in comprehension.

YOU choose what your Shepard is, what class, what gender, what alignment, etc.
In all of the marketing for all of the ME games, it shows default male Shepard, who's using an assault rifle. This, as has been said many times, is the default Shepard, meaning that if you don't change anything, this is the Shepard you'll use. But once you change something, your Shepard is no longer the default, and is completely your own. Hence, no such thing as canon.

Krogan - Combat/Biotics
Salarian - Tech/Combat
Turian - Combat/Tech
Asari - Biotics/Combat
Quarians - Tech
Drell - Combat/Biotics
Humans - Combat/Tech/Biotics
There's a lot of overlap, but Humans are the most "jack-of-all-trades".

Almost every human combatant that has interacted with Shepard was either of those classes.
Anderson-Soldier
Ashley-Soldier
Kaidan-Sentinel
Miranda-Sentinel
Jacob-Sentinel in iPhone game before Miranda poached his niche in Mass Effect 2 (Vanguard afterwards)
Vega-Soldier
Zaeed-Soldier
Kasumi and Jack are exceptions I guess, but they're pretty unique in their talents.

[/quote]No I don't. The canon isn't what you want it to be for everyone just cause you can't separate marketing and gameplay from our own personal canon. That's on you not me. But hey if your shep is soldier then it's all good.
I'm just saying don't put that on everyone cause it's clearly not the case.
