It seems like, in comparison to Mass Effect 2, the Phalanx and the Carnifex have both switched traits. Kind of pointless.
Does anyone else notice this?
Carnifex and Phalanx have switched places?

I have not gotten Carniflex, but it seems like Phalanx sacrificed a good bit of damage for less recoil, and they re-established Carniflex as the high-damage weapon.
Phalanx still has some punch to it, however.

I don't have the Carnifex yet, but the Phalanx still packs a mean punch (And mine's only at level 6)
My mods on it are a level 3 scope and a level 2 extended barrel (more damage).
On my Sentinel (Human female), 1 warp + 1 headshot (or 2 body shots) will kill an assault trooper on silver.

Yeah, I like the way they did it. Carnifex is my favorite handgun in the demo.

Yeah, but it just seems like a pointless change. Why not just keep them the same? Have the Phalanx as the high power beast, and then have the Carnifex as the bridge between it and the Predator, like it was in ME2.
