Her catsuit is authoritive and the hexagonal pattern gives it a clinical vibe... but at the same time it does give an air of vulnerability. Her outfit is a visual representation of her character, and that's a good thing.

Her outfit is nothing more than a visual representation of her ass and breasts, The hexagonal pattern is just a cerberus thing.

No, you are quite mistaken. The Cerburus logo vaguely resembles a hexagon, but i'm referring to the pattern on her catsuit, not the logo. She's the only person on the game to wear an item decorated in that way, and it does look very clinical.

Jacob has the same pattern on his outfit. The pattern is also present on the crew uniforms.

You must be one of those people complaining that Ashley's new look is ruining her character, too.

Not ruining her character just disrespecting it. And so what?

How is it disrespecting her character? How the hell do you even know how she would dress? she's been shown in 2 non-combat outfits over the span of 3 games.

In ME1+2, she's in the Alliance. Restricted by protocol.

In ME3, she's a Spectre. No longer restricted by protocol.

What's wrong with beautiful women in games? Why would anyone want ugly ones?

Beautiful women in games aren't 'wrong' per say. However, what IS wrong, is that they are usually presented as idealised, implicitely stating the message that women who have good looks are also automatically perfect. Also, usually these beautiful women are used as marketing tools to appeal to the audience in order to increase sales.

This has probably been brought up before, but it's quite difficult to animate cloth/armor/hair/whatever moving separate from the body in video games, and Bioware is notorious for not tackling this problem. So you get glued on outfits in their games.

Don't worry. In due time you might be able to get a new costume, or appearance (whatever floats your boat) for $10!

Why are we even caring about boob size? Don't like it don't look at it, and play the game. Jesus, you sensitive people would probably hate on Mortal Kombat just for the boobs and not even focus on the gameplay.

How is disrepspecting?

Because she was changed to pander to the male audience, not for any legitimate story reason.

So it was changed to pander to someone like me alright thanks Bioware.Image IPB

None of the "attractive" women in this game are even remotely "perfect". Not even Miranda.

Oh right, because mass effect has always been 100% about gameplay. Stop trying to change the subject when you loose an argument.

Actually, he does. Admittedly, it's only under his arms and down on his sides, but it's there. It's much more noticeable in his loyalty outfit.

And the problem being?

And a good, logical, legitimate reason as to why this is a bad thing. Not the party line from The PC Stormtrooper's Little Red Book.

At the end of the day Miranda's or Ash's look isn't going to ruin anything.

But call it what it is, it's pandering and fan service. People keep trying to pass it off as character growth, or no longer being bound by Alliance rules (Ask Shepard how that worked out when he was a Spectre and no longer under Alliance rules)

There are like 20 different people arguing. I trying to keep up with everyone of them. It's an internet forum, get off your high horse. Now let me get back to you, since you're so impatient and have nothing else better to do with yourself. I saw no difference in her breast size in the trailer compared to the first game. I honestly don't think Miranda or any other female even have large breast in any of the Mass Effect games what so ever (other then Samara). I've always wonder what people are bickering about with large breast when there aren't any. Even if there were (Samara) what is the big deal? Don't like large boobs, ignore it.

Exactly, its fanservice for the sake of fanservice, it serves no purpose whatsoever but to give nerds boners.

I was kinda sorta- scratch that- I was REALLY hoping that Miri would have a different outfit since she tells TIM off and Quits Cerberus in My Playthrough(s).

I don't understand why BioWare didn't give her a new outfit. Removing the Logo and having her wear the same outfit is most definitely NOT what I call Character development. I figured that since she resigned, she would be wearing something quite different.

BioWare once Stated that EVERYONE would get a redesign. Removing the Symbol and still wearing the white outfit does not count FFS.

I bet BioWare was SO busy creating development for the Multiplayer and the development Characters like VS, Liara, etc, that they lost time and money. They should have focused on EVERY EFFING *MAIN* CHARACTER who was in your squad in both ME1 AND ME2 for ME3!

BioWare: "Oh sh*t we forgot the Characters who aren't Squaddies.....Oh well, just throw in the old outfits with small tweaks."

LOL! You're naivete never ceases to amaze me Luis Image IPB

I still wish that Miri had a new outfit. Minor role or not. BioWare is slacking off now.

Exactly. It's not a game killer. And fan service in any "video game" (for want of a better term) is to be expected to a certain extent, when involving reasonably attractive female characters.

^This. Pandering to the male audience indeed.
