I didn't choose the wrong. There is no wrong character to have as an LI. Mir has always been my LI. My choice, and she shall be my ONLY LI whether BioWare likes it or not. Sorry, BioWare, but I'm not interested in your Blue Mascot or Alliance Fanatics.

You didn't pick Garrus, Tali, or the VS.

Ergo, wrong choice.

Here's a question: Do I give a ****?

That right there just proves how ****ed up BioWare is. They think that Miri is only cheat bait, but I don't. I played ME2 First, so on the contrary, the ME1 Females were cheat bait, but I resisted because I stayed loyal to Miri, and I wasn't interested.

Please, you already got a topic in which you can complain about the lack of 'Miri' in your game. Don't start here too. It becomes REALLY tiresome after a while.

I'm so done with this wizard of oz bull****.

Everybody here who complains about Ash's new outfit is just jealous that their own LI doesn't get as much attention as she does, so they decide to start to nitpick about her dress. Its sad really.

BioWare needs to learn to look at the opinions for EVERY Player. Not just the ones who please them with the choices they want them to make.

Not deemed serious in my eyes, no. This isn't about a particular character not getting enough attention, it's about the marginalising of a character by making her wear a silly innuendo-bearing cat-suit to appeal to the audience (in the case of Miranda).

This thread is very funny and very sad at the same time. I will go back to my final playthrough of ME2 before ME2 launches. Have fun arguing about fashion.

Ugh. Nevermind.

Miranda's catsuit looks ridculous for someone on the run just as Ashley's outfit looks ridculous for someone trying to look professional to a meeting.

@Fasty1: at least Atakuma was wise enough to abandon this sinking ship before it was too late.

Did I type that? I suppose I did. Honestly, I meant ME3, because ME2 didn't have multiplayer.

Edit: If we're all going to argue fashion, I might as well offer my take on it. Yeah, the suit is a bit silly if you try to judge it as armor, but it's flexible and she has survived a hell of a lot in it. What technology (magic) allows us to do is break some of the normal conventions on how we judge things; since her suit can project kinetic barriers, it's armor, even if it doesn't look like armor. The high heels are another matter - I can't accurately judge how effective they'd be in combat, since I've never worn them while trying to run and blow things up with MAH BRAAIIIIN. Still, as far as her suit goes, I don't see it as a great travesty.

Believe me, high heels are VERY unpractical for running. Therefore they're just there for aesthetic purposes, I guess.

Sure, it doesn't seem to be the most practical garb for a fugitive trying to lay low but they gave up any pretense of realistic armour with they ditched the system of ME1 in favour of the current iconic looks for all the characters and the general switchover to full science fantasy style.
My only complaint is where's the hell is the catsuit option for Shep (yes, both genders).
Though I'd settle for any light armour at this point (in fact I'd prefer light armour Liara style to a catsuit), but even a catsuit would be much better than the bulky gear Shep's stuck with by default since ME2.

In fantasy style always triuphs over such petty concerns as practicality, except for poor Shep it seems (and then only if you play him in such a manner that donning the bulkiest armour you can find makes sense).

I say they can wear what they want on the ship but while in combat they need armor and when in a toxic atmosphere or SPACE, they need to wear helmets not masks HELMETS, that pisses me off

so what pisses me off is the fashion police here on BSN who does not understand this is a sci fi game and if you have sheilds you can wear anything .

No.

There are plenty of other hazards that shields don't do squat against (like hand to hand combat and slow moving weapons like knives). Not to mention shrapnel, enviornmental hazards and such.
