I say they can wear what they want on the ship but while in combat they need armor and when in a toxic atmosphere or SPACE, they need to wear helmets not masks HELMETS, that pisses me off

so what pisses me off is the fashion police here on BSN who does not understand this is a sci fi game and if you have sheilds you can wear anything .

No.

There are plenty of other hazards that shields don't do squat against (like hand to hand combat and slow moving weapons like knives). Not to mention shrapnel, enviornmental hazards and such.

reminds me of the personal shields in Dune, they couldn't stop slow moving things

anyway I can't believe this thread is still going

Back to the topic, which is about MIRANDA's outfit not Ashley's... regardless about whether you're a fan of Miranda or her catsuit she should get a different outfit in ME3, even if it's just a different colour/pattern. What happened to her quitting Cerberus? Why is she still wearing their "uniform"? It's just plain lazy on the designer's part.

Well, the Cerberus emblem is... gone...

That's about it though.

1. It's iconic. You see the suit, you think Miranda. That was kind of the point of character design in ME2.
2. It's functional. She's been through a lot in it, and wouldn't just dump it because she quit Cerberus. If you quit a company but got to keep the best toys they let you have, would you return them? If you hated them, you'd be even more inclined to steal.
3. It may very well have been an oversight for the trailer, rendering this entire thread pointless. We'll have to wait and see .

She should at least be in armor, like the set she gets in that armor dlc pack...

I can see another dlc coming. Armor packs for people who aren't even your permanent squad mates? EA exec said slap a $10 price tag on that.

amazing how bitter and emotional people get when discussing something as trivial as whether or not someone has a new outfit in the game. Am i concerned with whether anyone has a new outfit or not? hell no!! when i spotted miranda in the femshep trailer, was my first thought 'OMGZ SHES N DA SAME OUTFITZ?!!" ....no! As someone a few posts before me said, is it going to affect the amount you enjoy or play the game? genuinly? not in a million years

How can a CAT SUIT be taken seriously as an ARMOUR, I wonder...Why are the cat elemetns even needed in the suit? What is their use? When you wear armour in combat, I just can't understand why you'd wear a carnival outfit and high heels...Combat-wise it doesn't makre sense. And don't give me the 'shields' crap. She could as well have those shields when wearing a more moderate outfit which doesn't have cat ears and the like. No, this cat suit is just merely aesthetical and used to pander to the horny fan crowd in order to represent dear 'Miri' as every man's wet dream.

I think she's still in it because it's so damn hard to get out of.

Remember, zombie cyborg.

All of my +1's and internets dude.

I hate how people forget Shep's got Cybernetics in her now. She's probably got super human strength and stamina now

All I'm picturing now is Samus and Femshep in a neverending arm wrestle.

I guess I'm just forever alone then.

Because everytime she shot a glance at me, she looked as if she wanted to put another catsuit on, to cover up her catsuit.

My shep might be the nicest guy ever and save everything and all that happy feelings crap but he has 2 rules other rules that make him stand apart from every other nice guy out there:
1- Take everything that isn't welded onto the superstructure(unless there is enough time to cut it off.
2- Sleep with everyone on the ship, if Kirk can do it then by god Shep can as well.

I won't be getting Mass Effect 3. Nevertheless, this IS an issue for me. I don't really like it when characters in a game with a good story and serious atmosphere become ridiculized by putting them in some or the other idiotic fanservice role. It would be the same as dressing up Queen Amidala from Star Wars in a bunny suit. Things like this do away with the realism of the game and causes the game to contradict itself. Because on one hand you get a compelling story of a world war against a gigantic destructive force, but on the other hand, all of this gets ridiculized as soon as you see Miranda shaking her ass in her cat suit.

Since she isn't a permanent squad member it isn't that much of an issue to me. If she was permanent than yeah I would want her to have some armor (something along the lines of the alternate outfit she finally got in ME 2)

BioWare needs to learn to look at the opinions for EVERY Player. Not just the ones who please them with the choices they want them to make.

I'm probably the least likely person on all of BSN to say such a thing, but, you know that's impossible right? BW isn't full of Hermes Conrad's.

Bioware, I am willing to pay DLC for another Miranda armor.
