Hey guys, just wondering about biotic explosions.

Here are my two questions:

1. I have an Asari adept, and I've maxed out throw and warp (obviously I've gotten the bio explosion perks). and I was wondering if they were mutually exclusiver? I know it says a %50 bonus to ALL bio explosions but I'm a theorycrafter and I don't trust anything but results.

To give context to my question  I'll give an example:  Say you cast stasis bubble, and trigger a bio explosion by chucking a throw at someone inside of it. Would the ensuing bio explosion only receive the %50 bonus from the throw perk or would it receive a %100 bonus from both perks even though you never used warp?

2. Assuming the answer to the first question is "no, they aren't mutually exclusive" and using just one of those abilities to set off an explosion provides a %100 bonus, then my 2nd question is taking it one step further. Are two different players' talents mutually exclusive from eachother? Say my friend who also has these perks casts warp and then I cast throw. Would that bio explosion receive a %200 bonus?

I would've tried to figure the answers out to these questions myself, but I play on the 360 so I can't really experiment as well as someone on a PC could, and because it's impossible to re-allocate perk points to see the difference in damage, and I only came up with these questions after we spent our points. Plus there's really no point of reference for how much damage it deals, since this game doesn't give very detailed information when it comes to damage.

Thanks for reading, I hope we get to the bottom of this!

Ehh it'll be 50% for a Biotic Explosion created by that ability. Now I'm not sure if you throw warp on, then do the same with throw if it'll get an eeven bigger one becuase both have it. But as an example using stasis then throw, you wont be getting the Warp's bonus.

There not 'Perks' - there ability ranks, they only effect that specific ability.

Im very interested in this matter too, if you care, we could do some testing.

Throw and Shockwave are probably the two most underrated powers - I've not seen many people using them to purposely set off biotic explosions, dealing area damage in the process. I'ts a great crowd control mechanism, deals lots of damage/force to the target, and it's great fun to knock around Atlases like empty trashcans, or to test a Phantoms flight characteristics :>
