I romanced Liara in ME1, I also did in ME2, but along with her, I romanced jack.

Does anyone know how ME3 will handle this?

I noticed the picture in my cabin ceased to have Liara in the picture after Jack came in my room(no pun intended ;) ).

Prepare for unforeseen consequences.

The game remembers if you cheated no matter when you did it.

Just some dialogue and a choice between the two.

Is this confirmed? Did you see this in a leak or what not?

Liara did say to me, "I know you are seeing that woman with anger issues. I do not want to get into a fight(or something along those lines...sounded like she was alluding to ME1 when I had romanced both Liara and Ashley...and they both confronted me ;) )."

I know many critize Bioware for not having as many consequences/choices as they'd like, but the little things like that are pretty neat/funny.

From what I've read there will for sure be "consequences" if you cheated on your love interest from ME1. Although I don't see how it can be considered cheating if you romanced Kaiden or Ashley in ME1. After you run into them in ME2, they effectively leave you even if you invite them to come along and chase after the collectors. Kaiden even writes you later to tell you he is dating someone else.

I'm very excited for the drama to unfold. As someone who romanced Kaiden in ME1 and then Garrus in ME2, I am anticipating lots of uncomfortable moments when I take them both out on missions in ME3. :D

I was under the impression that dying freed you from all contracts and obligations.

Is this considered to be in the wrong thread? I find it impossible to decide.

Nothing big will happen, let's be serious here.

I don't want something big...even if it's the same as ME1(where they both confront) that'd be fine.

I know a lot of people believe (perhaps rightly) that they were abandoned by Kaidan or Ash in ME2, but I have a strong feeling that "we were on a break" isn't going to be enough of a reason for finding someone new to make things go smoothly with the old LI.

I see it as a legitimate break up.

Especially considering the whole "You're a traitor!" thing.

And then they send a message apologizing for overreacting.

It takes a particularly patient and understanding Shep, but the romance is still there.

That said I have other Sheps with other ME2 girls for legit reasons, but one of my Sheps is staying loyal to Ash (and getting imported first!).

That apology is incredibly weak, especially on Ashley's end.

Just my opinion.

Legitimate break up? Yeah, I think it is. If you went that route with your Shep I don't think it was at all out of character or anything. It's just that when you break up you don't always get back together, you know? The old LI might think it shows that you weren't all that in to them to start with.

At least, I kind of hope it's not super-easy to fall back into the old relationship after having a new one. It should still be possible, I think, but more difficult. Or at least have a few awkward moments.
