I don't recall infiltrators, sentinels, soldiers, etc being able to warp across the map like we do. Being a Maguard is a risky job. If you have a Manguard, you'll do good. If you have a Vanguard, however... I can't say the same.

On the other hand, a Vanguard who knows how to play as a member of a team is beautiful, especially if paired up with Stasis-spamming Asari adept.

ADEPTS<3 MY BEST FRIEND
I love when they use stasis. The biotic explosion sounds GLORIOUS

Takes abit of practice. What you mainly should try to focus on is trying to hone up on your situational awareness skills and instincts, knowing when the situation is good for a charge and when it is not. Quick thinking helps too.

Typical response. There is a huge difference in being able to clear an area that your team is watching and going off all alone where no one else can support you. Besides, because the Vanguard is able to charge enemies from a distance this allows them to protect their team from the front and back. The worst Vanguards are the ones that think they are too good to sit in the objective and help their team complete it quickly. The faster the objective is completed the more credits and experience the team gets. There is a reason why everyone gets the same score at the end of the mission.

Typical response from you too! lol

Can't do this if your team is dead! LOL
Manguards draw LOADS of aggro. That SAME aggro that would normally get a team killed on silver/gold!
I've helped teams so much when there is NO ENEMIES occupying the objectives.
>clearly doesn't recognize a Manguards role as a tank.
>clearly only plays with dumb, weak Vanguards!
We have the option to go off on our own. That's the beauty of the risk. It's not necessarily a stupid risk either if you have the appropriate build!

I use a scope hand cannon so my %weight remains very high (194%+). Shockwave is used to hold corridors or stun Guardians so I can shoot them in the head.
Charge/Nova comes into play once defenses are stripped, charge in and wreak havoc.

I do exactly the same lol. Only with an Asari adept. =)
She can hold her own, and keep half the agro when other 3 people keep the other half. I always go to the other side of the map and flank enemies.

In Vanguard's defense. Charge does tend to hiccup much like it did in ME2. A number of times I have a perfect sight line, no obstacles in my way and Charge just will not activate when I hit Y.

The charge fail bug has happened to me too so I guess it is on both pc and console.

The difference between 3 and 3.5 sec cooldown on Charge is not that big a deal if you have your rolls down pat and the reflexes to quickly acquire new targets. 3.5 sec cooldown and a single Mattock X is BROKEN.HolyAvenger wrote...
Yep carry a pistol for max recharge, then charge+nova everything in sight.

This is SO annoying, especially on Gold.
Charge -> Roll -> perfectly timed Nova -> Charge is ready... and won't activate for no apparent reason -> dead
I hope the devs are able to fix this somehow as it sometimes really ruins the MP experience on higher difficulty. Same goes for some enemies not taking damage after they have been down by a Charge.
As for the weapons load-out: You can carry an SMG/AR and a Heavy Pistol and still remain at 200% if the weapon levels are high enough.
