Anyway, i hate how bioware gave her a body. I thought, from what was gathered in ME2, that EDI was going to become the voice of the normandy. In ME1 the normandy has a VI, that you hear when you dock in a planet. In ME2 the normandy has an AI, effectively replacing the VI and at the end of the game, most of the crew.
I thought EDI was going to be voice and mind of the ship, after all the normandy is a very special ship (compared to other ships in the game) and it would make sense to have a ship that respond to how you treat it, or the interaction between Joker and her true love "the ship" (not the robot).
It would also bring a nice comparison between the Reapers, which are in principle sentient ships, with the normandy which would be a ship with an AI, effectively being sentient. EDI could have had a holographic projection like Avina on the citadel to intreact with her, instead of the little ME2 ball.
But no, instead we get EDI on a robotic body, that suddenly knows how to fight and becomes a squadmate. I guess the ship is back to Joker controling it, now that EDI is busy playing with her new body. Not to speak about the relation between Joker and this sexbot... to annoy shepards that wanted to romance joker to no end. In my opinion a stupid idea to replace Legion, which should have been with shepard (considering the N7 armor band) instead.

I think they missed a big opportunity for some really interesting questions to be raised had EDI not been put into a sex bot body.

I dont mind it but their is a few things I cant understand!
If she is suposed to the an infiltrator unit (used to have skin over it) then why on earth does it have that implied hair and strange looking feet? Although they may just be shoes.
I wonder how the alt apperances are gona work for her, could you just swap out parts :L
Rest assured, these questions are answered in game.

Hmmm... Would rather have Legion lol. I liked EDI better when she was just being the Normandy.

she can be a squadmate and still the voice / mind of the ship. AIs are very good at multitasking, especially the female ones.
joker / edi will be the mass effect version of rommie / harper from andromeda, I like it!

I like what I've seen, it has a sort of 50's-70's sci-fi vibe to it which I can appreciate (even if it may be somewhat over the top).
80's more likely... But if you want to go back to the roots Metropolis (1927) I think.

EDI's 'infiltrator unit" body is EVA CORE!! since eva core died ALONG time ago TIM remade her into a robot.. not really HER per-say, but a robot infiltrator using Eva Core's personality(?) and looks so this also show that TIM is still human
(fyi, Eva Core was one of TIM's friends back in the first contact war)

Kinda ridiculous. Much would have preferred a more robotic frame, with just a hint of slender femininity. This is a too over-the-top, and this is a game with a LOT of over-the-top stuff.

But... you already have like 5 at least moderately attractive females of various species on your ship. Do you really need a curvy robot?Arppis wrote...
