This one time I was unaware that a phantom was close behind me. It impaled me with its sword and I died. Without even hesitating, I used my last medi-gel and revived. I was instantly rewarded with another sword through the chest. Why didn't I wait until the phantom left?

What are some doh moments in your experience with the multiplayer?

Run blindly into turret fire to rez a teammate, only to die myself. Got toe-to-toe with an Atlas, only to be insta-killed. Rolled onto a grenade instead of rolling away from it. Got so fixated on headshotting a Phantom I'd stasis bubble'd that I didn't notice I'd been flanked by a Centurion...

The list goes on.

When i first started i tried starting at silver matches thinking that i would actually be useful.

Getting stuck between two atlases legs and 2 phantoms creeping at your back after reviving teammates (you know how it ends lol) D: Thankfully they managed to hold the line

yeah they need to change the default to bronze especially for new players

I haven't really done anything stupid, but people I played with have.

I was playing my Krogan Soldier, walking around blowing people away with a shotgun, not a care in the world, then suddenly all three of my teammates decided that THEY wanted the kill so they dove out in front of me only to take a shotgun blast in the back. All three went down. I killed the guy I was after then walked away.

My attempts at doing something fancy with Vanguard charge have been... less than effective.

If you see a Vanguard in a pickup game with "Sinapus" as an Origin ID and they die. Don't bother rezzing. Just... don't.

(I'm getting slightly better, so long as I charge isolated enemies or use it to support a teammate in need of help. Shockwaving guardians is something I'm pretty good at, actually.)

Must have been escaping some enemies with low health, then seeing 2 guardians and 2 troopers closing on our position and thinking they really had to go down. At least I took one down before the other 3 bashed my head in, rest of the team started to go down after that from trying to bring me back or not having any support.

misjudging the time i've got to take a widow shot on a guardian after an assault trooper has chucked a grenade.

Charged in to save a team-mate from nearly across the map only to find out that they died to a turret around the corner.

panicking ridiculously when i'm about to die (surrounded by loads of guys) so i tactical cloak to try hiding, only to get turned into swiss cheese; i swear that the Cerberus troops were just thinking "how dumb do you think we are?

Last man alive on wave 10, silver. I am fratically running from a Phantom and an Atlas. I run straight to a turret that I already knew was there.

Played a match with my 18 month old daughter in the room.

There I was, all engrossed with the match, and she came up like a phantom and BAM! Started smacking down on my keyboard.

I'm sure my squadmates thought there was some serious derping going on, but thankfully I didn't die.

Ouch. I've done something like this just recently..

We were at the extraction point and an atlas was coming down on us. I pulled out my missle launcher and a smoke gernade goes off in front of it. Thinking to myself: meh, I know where it is. I fired away and ended up hitting a guardian instead of the atlas. Thankfully, we successfully survived that mission.

On the bright side, you got a few points for it - the time that happened to me, it caught an engineer on the bright side, it was highly entertaining to watch him get rendered into little flecks of skin and blood

Me and my mates were playing on Bronze, just messing around with some low level characters and having a chat. Next game, someone switched it to Gold and no one else noticed. I'm messing around with a new Vanguard and see a Atlas and think "I got this," so I charged it. To my dismay, there was another Atlas and two Phantoms right behind the Atlas I charged. >.< If I had known someone switched to Gold as a joke, that wouldn't have happened. Needless to say, I died, and everyone died trying to save me.


Worst mistake though was missing extraction when I was messing around meleeing things on my Krogan soldier. I literally didnt even notice it was the 11th wave and time for extraction. I just thought this wave happened to be insanely packed. I felt like such a jerk when I cost my team the full extraction bonus, since it was totally my fault. I even took the time to send out apologies to the randoms in my team hahah

Used my last medi-gel on silver to revive myself when I was downed by the last enemy, right in front of my squadie trying to rez me, not knowing the pair of feet close to my head was friendly. Two seconds before the last guy was killed no less.

 This is the most conceited thing I have ever read. Just saying. Isn't even true since our weapons don't injure teammates as far as I know.

Mine.

 Stayed outside the extraction area for a better view of enemies, died, a teammate came out to save me, also died, she got immediatly stomped, I got revived and we lost our full extraction bonus. I apologized but needless to say I got kicked, and rightfully so. I stay in the LZ in round 11 unless someone needs reviving now. I learn from my mistakes. Other then that monumetally stupid moment, I roll into grenades, charge into the path of turrets (You really should read what exactly kiled you team member) and wasted ammo and played cat and mouse with a phantom while the rest of my team looked on, damn spectator mode. When nervous I can't aim so I stasised that ninja and proceeded to riddle the ground near her feet with bullets.

I've just launched a missile... right in time to see the missile a teammate launched a second before hit the Atlas I was targetting. Then my shot hits something useless.
