I have wathed videos on several sites wich claim to contain the voice of the prothean squad member... And it's like north-african... I'm mostly impressed, I expected some sort of pompous british accent or a voice like the one on the recording on Ilos... But north-african? It must be a joke, isn't?

If it's true I would be waiting at all times a phrase like "Hey, wassa matta you, brotha?" xD

I was hoping it would sound unfamiliar, alien. Instead, it appears the Protheans are from Jamaica...or is it Africa? Damn all that subtlety. At any rate Bioware, you really know how to f*ck things up.

I mean, shouldn't ALL the aliens sound completely alien? Maybe, but they don't, so as it is, this accent sounds great, and different enough from the other aliens.

I agree on the Most Interesting Man in the World thing. He really should have been the voice actor. 

I still like his voice though. Nice and different, ya know?

someone else brought that up in another thread, also a good idea he has a sound that is sort of like Mordin, it would have been a great choice as well

Jesus like 3/4 of this site can't distinguise accents from each other. Its a Eastern African accent more specifcaly a Nigerian accent. North africans are an Arabic like people and most speak arabic so they would have arabic sounding accents.
