Don't we need to purchase an Evangelical Permit to talk about this kinda' stuff on the forums, or something?

Elijah Shepard is not footing the bill for a permit this time.

How that Hanar didn't have 150 credits is beyond me, I found more then that in random objects.

Yeah, I found more than that on the merc I just gunned down in the streets.

Oh wait...

Or from those farmers I extorted on Eden Prime......... Why the hell was I made a specter again?

I was just playing ME2 Mordin's mission, and Lol-ling about Shep stopping the looters, while he was stealing himself. He even stole from someone's safe when they were RIGHT THERE in the house.

So funny.

I play as mostly paragon and I still robbed that slum blind, it's just a "saving your ass" tax.

My problem is just Bioware has a history of leaving stuff out so they can sell it later. If anything this should have been included for buying new, like Shale in DA:O, CN in ME2

But with those you got it automatically if you bought a new, non-used copy, what bothers me about this ME3 DLC is that they're making you pay extra for it.

You know I keep seeing this pop up, but I have to ask: Why SHOULD game companies respect you? You never show them any respect. They work hard to give you a great experience and yet the second they do something you don't like, you condemn them and call them monsters. To get respect, you have to give it. And Lord & Master Foamy the Squirrel, the gamers are not giving it at ALL.

Just my 2 credits.

Your opinion is fine but were supposed to respect game companies for trying to make a quick dollar off us.And why do they get put on a pedestal by some gamers.I never here about a teacher, doctor or anybody else that works begging for praise to do their jobs. But thats just my opinion.

We don't put game companies on a pedestal. We just give them credit where credit is due. Bioware made a fantastic game series. They've given us a 4 year long adventure filled with nail biting suspense and heartfelt romance with a side of mind blowing action. So just because they do one thing you don't like, that gives you right to tear them down and ask for thier heads?

Yes its called being a consumer. Its customer feedback. And i agree they make great games but that doesnt mean i have to like everything they do.

You don't have to. That doesn't mean you can call them greedy jerkwads and demand they do what you want. Customer feedback is one thing. Starting a witch hunt over $10 is taking the Omega-4 Relay and crashing into the Collector base.

When did i ever call for a boycott or say bioware was evil i dindnt. All im doing as a right as a consumer is to let them know that im not sattisfied with the way their handling day 1 content. If they had a 500 dollar version of the game and you thought it was worth it thats great its you right. But just because i dont doesnt make my opinion any less valid than yours.

Sir, that is what a majority of these threads are. That Bioware is this evil monster that is scamming everyone. The reality: Bioware is giving you a Prothean that does nothing but sedate your thrist to see a real Prothean and not some Deviant Art fan pic. He does nothing. He does not have a Reaper Killer 9000. He does not hold the secrets of the Reaper's origins that will help you destroy them once and for all. He is just a Prothean. He is useless.

I get that i think your missing my point.I really dont care about the dlc itself.I care about the perception that they left content out of the finished game.Personally i want this game to sell well for future game releases,I just dont want to feel like im supporting a company thats taking advantage of its fan base.

Its your own fault you're getting that perception. The sooner people get past the fact he was a planned DLC the better. BioWare has said all its needed to, the people who still don't get on with it obviously don't understand something about the game development or marketing.

It can't take advantage of you if it has nothing of importance to hold over you. Prothey adds nothing to the game but his mere presence. You still get the best ending wether or not you have him. When Bioware says you can't beat the Reapers without him, then the concern is justified.

So if they took out all the companions and aded them for 10 dollars a piece thats okay.Because as long as you have shepard you can complete the game so their really not important.

For the sake of everyone's eyes I'll skip to the end.

Yes. This is Shepard's story. That's pretty much all you need. One man, a ship named Normandy and a gun. You against the Reapers. Everyone else is just along for the ride.

Still have no idea why we brought her. I didn't need an archeologist.

What did happen with her studies anyway? Did she write a book or something? I'd like to know if all her times effing with my brain paid off for her.

The same way Zaeed, a human working for a pro-human group being the antagonist of the main trilogy, trilogy being about a human saving the galaxy is of absolute importance ?

So the Blue suns impact on the story is so critical that we hear about them 3 minutes into Me1 and has more or less the entire plot of ME1 and significant parts of ME2 revolve around their lore and fate.

Gotcha.

Didnt read that codex though?

Unless he knows of some super ancient mega weapon that can one shot a Reaper from three galaxies over, he is virtually useless to you. What can he offer that you don't already know? Protheans used Reaper tech, they were harvested, tried to warn everyone else and failed.

What else could he possibly teach us? If I wanted a Prothean history lesson, I'll ask Liara.

And even if he did have that weapon, I'd doubt it's usefullness as it didn't work too well the first time around, now did it?

-Sorry. For some of us this is a storydriven fps/adventure with rpg elements. We rather do like the lore, codex etc, especially when it comes to the mythical creatures that are such a central part of the ingame lore.

And even if he did have that weapon, I'd doubt it's usefullness as it didn't work too well the first time around, now did it?

-It worked well enouogh for the protheans to enable you to have a fighting chance in saving the galaxy?  Or perhaps you made it past ilos without visiting Virgil? Or you yourself hacked into the citadel computer system and got controll of the station?
