Hi there,

I had massive problems with Mass Effect crashing on my
relatively fresh Win7 64 install. I could play for no more than 10
minutes, often less. No perceivable links between the crashes. I
searched the forums thoroughly but had no luck.

Then I found the post by thegrommit in another forum and to give him the credit, here is the link:

For
me the solution was to disable Catalyst A.I. (or AI). Seemingly its
intelligence was too offended or too little to work with ME2. I don't know which is true.

Since then my game is runnig smoothly as ever.

Phenom II X3 @3,3GHz
MSI radeon 4850 with Catalyst 12.1
8 GB ram
Windows 7 64Bit with all the updates
